  1. Make a trip to a specialist that deals in these cars and get their opinion instead of "Gaz" your local mechanic who's good with TVR's or whatever. Not trying to knock them but you said yourself your car has been looked at by multiple mechanics and none of them seem to be of any help, so why not try someone used to these cars? Its worth the trip out of your way even if its for nothing else than peace of mind.
  2. Save yourself a little money and get a new Amuse Titanium exhaust instead https://www.nengun.com/amuse/rs-silent Yours for only £2376. Bargain compared to the Nismo system
  3. Don't mean to hijack your topic but I'm in a similar dilema myself, thinking about getting an R34 GTT and wrestling with the pros and cons that come with going to an older car from the 350z. I want something petrol, manual, RWD, similiar power and with rear seats for ~14k. Audi S5, BMW 335i (dont fancy E46 M3 with 100k miles), Monaro are other considerations. GT86 and TT are out due to rear space. An R34 Skyline is always something I've wanted to own, GTR's are mental money and the GTT is the only affordable way into ownership. I can afford to be carless from a time perspective when issues crop up but not necessarily from a financial perspective if it turns into a lemon, decisions decisions
  4. Were you not tempted by a pair of DEPO headlights, for the price you could have had brand new headlights rather than used? I got my ARK Grip from Tarmac, great bit of kit but a heads up i recommend picking up some marine grade nuts and bolts that hold that burnt tips on as the ones included are slightly too large and go rusty quick.
  5. Toothpaste, a cloth and plenty of elbow grease. But you have to use a proper sealant afterwards otherwise it will return.
  6. If you only fit parts you sell then what if someone buys a service kit? https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/service-parts/350z-370z-p1-service-kit.html
  7. The thing with nerve agents is it doesn't need to kill you to give you a death sentence. They will never recover even if they don't die from it there and then. I'm sure more details will come out later in time when they are finished peicing the bits together to get the full picture, any mistake just gives Russia more ammunition to rubbish the whole thing.
  8. I don't think Russia directly ordered it but i suspect are involved by either selling directly or via a corrupt deal, a military nerve agent that should never have left their facilities. First Alexander Litvinenko with the radiation poisoning and now this as well, i think the reactions are justified.
  9. £1100 for staggered 19" is a good price, doubt they will hang around long.
  10. IF Renault give it the green light, it wont be allowed to compete with their Alpine relaunch so it will effectively be a re-badging exercise of the Inifiniti engine and drive train.
  11. You could just scrape into an R34 GTT with that budget: https://www.gumtree.com/p/nissan/nissian-skyline-r34-import/1287752108
  12. Yeah but Dan Hancox got his name in too, wheres yours eh?
  13. North of £110k and LHD only if im not mistaken, strong money for a new untested brand and new chinese production line. Be interesting to see the reviews once people get their hands on them.
  14. Perhaps the next meeting should be held in the local high-street then if the residents object to cars gathering out of the way, in an open empty area....such as a airfield for example
  15. The grass is always greener. At least you know the issues with your car, getting something else is a punt and you could end up with an even bigger list of issues compared to what you have now, short of buying nearly new or with warranty this is the roll of the dice you take with car purchases. I dont think ive ever owned a used car that i was 100% happy with that didnt have something I wanted to get done/sorted etc
  16. Does Infiniti even offer a manual in their lineup at all anymore? If it was a white goods/hatchback i wouldnt mind the 7speed auto, but in a "sporty" drivers car it HAS to be a manual to appeal to me.

Great vid. Other than losing out on that straight section the 350's seemed to dominate that track. (until he punts him off the track )
  18. Id agree with TT350 and I think having a reference point helps. Thinking back sure I would have loved a 350z as a first car, but i wouldn't have appreciated it the same way I do currently. Insurance costs effectively enforce this principle already though.
  19. My aunt was able to buy her first house in the city centre of Lincoln for less than her yearly salary that she made from teaching at the time. My god it must be a nice feeling to be able to do that, what is it now 4x, 5x etc on average the typical salary? Something has to give eventually, all these buy to let landlords treating housing as profit by buying up the traditional first time buyer stock and then letting it out. (just for balance I am a home owner myself)
  20. If you want a perfect car with no faults, buy a new 370z and treat it the way you want from the get go. If you cant afford a new car then stop worrying about stuff you have no control over, old cars have problems its part of the reason they are this at this price point.
  21. Wasn't this the ebola car? ..... In all seriousness you are better off doing a search for the registration seeing if anything comes back, if they sold it they probably moved on and don't post here anymore.
  22. I beat you to it Davey_83, check the video section. (Although they hadn't started the build it was just the unveil at the time)
  23. Would it kill you to dust/clean your interior and steering column?
