  1. We're having our first kids (twins), the FIRST thing i veto'd before the subject was even brought up was the 350z. I still need to get to work at the end of the day Back on the OP. Its a good video but lets be honest, that Subaru is potentially barryboys worthy with its Lexus lights, matt purple paint and demon eye headlights.
  2. Sargara

    bye bye sti

Shame. Based on stats/looks alone the Subaru would have gotten my money if i was in a position to buy a new "hot hatch" now that they are all going 5 door. It appeals to me more than the Focus RS, Golf's and TypeR.
  3. While I don't disagree on the whole, the issue i have is roads where NSL limits have been reduced because of accidents. The people who speed and crash will do so regardless of the limit yet the rest of us are the ones who have to deal with the imposed "50mph" limit that was previously a NSL road because of "accident stats". I used to drive these roads at their old 60mph limit, myself and countless others didn't perish in balls of fire but because some biker tops himself doing 85 we all now suffer? its bollocks.
  4. Looks like Mighty Car Mods are starting a 350z project as their new car: Hopefully they do it properly, some of their past efforts have been hit and miss. Be interesting to see how this pans out.
  5. I dont know about the rest of the EU but they'd sell more if they bothered to offer decent finance packages to encourage sales here, last time i checked they were not competitive with what else is out there from the german offerings. Considering PCP/HP makes up such a large portion of new car sales they are shooting themselves in the foot.
  6. I don't think Renault will allow Nissan to produce another Z car that will potentially compete with their revised Alpine brand. Nissan wont do coupes anymore while the current SUV trend continues, only Infiniti will.
  7. I wish the whole SUV fad would die out already, they just don't suite our roads or carparks in this country and its an arms race scenario where people feel the need to drive them because other people are driving them.
  8. I can only comment on my experiences and where i drive but when I want a decent drive then time and location is everything. In summer head to the peak district at dawn, or late on a summer evening and you are fine to enjoy some great roads in relative peace. Head to the same roads during the summer holidays, or bank holiday weekends when all the fair weather bikers are out gathering in Matlock Bath and you can bet theres camera vans and police all over the place, or convoys of tourists etc.
  9. I quite liked the recent FFXV i certainly got my money's worth out of it. It had hunts and real time combat which I both enjoyed from FF12 on the PS2. Biggest downside for me was the characters, all abit emo and hard to feel any attachment to. Playing PUBG and Warhammer Total War 2 at the moment. Great games for very different reasons
  10. My bad just spotted this in the general section so I guess that makes my topic a repost. Feel free to kill it mods.
  11. That video makes my head hurt. The youtuber CLEARLY makes money from filming people leaving shows enthusiastically and yet you can hear him laughing/cheering the police when they go to pull someone over which results in the meet now being cancelled.... Hes cheering his own Youtube revenue being cancelled!?
  12. Ok own up, who was the naughty 350z at the Reading Jap Meet who contributed to getting the 16yr long running meeting canceled? Before this topic is derailed by the usual comments on these sorts of videos allow me to get this out of the way: - Dont drive like this on public roads - Dont "bring the image of the 350z down" - Think of the children! etc etc
  13. What PSI were you getting to know they had failed out of interest, or was it a case of oil in the spark plugs?
  14. +1 for the Pioneer. I dont have an iPhone so that part of it is wasted on me but its great for bluetooth and i feel it suits the interior nicely.
  15. Nice one thanks i'll have a look if there are alternatives closer to Nottingham as that company only covers certain areas. Is it a case of re-dying the bits that have been removed by me in essence?
  16. In typical 350z fashion one job now appears to have lead to another job. The bolsters on my Alezan leather drivers seat were looking a little worse for wear, dirt getting into cracks that i wasn't able to clean with my usual wipe method so I figured i'd try and do it properly, bought some APC, a detailing brush to work it into the leather and some leather restorer for afterwards.... I got as far as using the brush on the APC after letting it sit for a minute or two and I now appear to have cleaned off some layer of dye? Passenger seat went flawless so I assume this is a previous owners attempt to repair the leather that I've now reversed? Help! What are my options here?
  17. it betrays the ethos of the original nsx by being heavy and filled to the brim with drive numbing technology while not being as fast as the trio of hybrid super cars spawned 2-3 years ago. Not to mention expensive.
  18. I think it will depend largely what Nissan do next with the GTR. If they do a decent follow up, current owners may jump ship and the supply will increase and reduce the price of current GTR, if they do a bad job (see new NSX) it will prevent further drops. Dodgy bodykits like that £28k example tho may still be lower.
  19. Your video on facebook of the prize draw was a nice way of doing the reveal
  20. Those are what I fitted Shezza on my LMGT4 from nengun. Fedex stung me for £12 in total on a £30 order though!
  21. You'll need to get a multi-meter on the terminals really to see what is getting power and what isnt. What voltage is your battery gauge on the centre console reading when you turn the ignition on (prior to starting the car)?
  22. Looking at the photos Id say your light cluster is mounted correctly, as it mounts to the body and that is the part that is sitting flush. So If anything it is your rear bumper thats sitting slightly lower than it should, hence the bigger panel gap so nothing to do with your light at all. Theres a plastic clip/bolt thing that holds the rear bumper to the wing that is a right pain to unfasten, at a guess its been left undone when the bumper was off last time. (edit) This one here: https://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-exterior-and-lighting-diy/210062-diy-rear-bumper-removal-with-pictures.html
  23. Good point I hadnt thought to leave a Google review, I'll do one now
  24. Its mainly a HR issue and <2012 370z as they share the same gasket design. Take out your sparks and have a look for signs of oil if you are concerned on your DE, easy way to tell.
