  1. The list price is somewhat irrelevant, they can list the new Supra, Zed, NSX at whatever they want but the days of cars being purchased outright is over, its all about the £££pcm figure now which is where alot of the recent cars have failed massively, as they dont seem to support their finance packages anywhere near as much as the German brands do. I bet if Subaru/Toyota tried, they'd shift a lot more GT86's with a wallet friendly £££pcm figure but last I looked the "deals" they had were shocking. The same will apply to the new Supra and Zed, if they made the numbers work they would sell regardless.
  2. They were looking at the Police but it just so happened there was a 350 passing in the other direction. I watched the program last night and never spotted the 350, very good observation skills! Back to the show.... £1700 per week tho in disposable income just to spunk on whatever!? Oh to be the top 10% of society.
  3. I know that feeling. I'm 33 and a couple of my childhood close mates since having children have essentially dropped off the face of the earth, well apart from the cringe inducing facebook posts they make about their kid. I'm not holding it against them or anything before I'm judged, I understand and I'm just letting them crack on with it.
  4. Impressive, the power of Stoptech will also give you matt-black wheels instead of silver
  5. Pretty certain those headlights are for LHD cars (eBay listing shows them fitted in what looks like America for example). Worth being aware of before commiting to aftermarket. (edit) ignore me, just noticed the listing offers both fitments.
  6. Thanks for clarifying I was struggling to get the BBC article to make sense, they seemed to only focus on the fact he had modified his exhaust. Makes sense now you mention it, spotted the flame exhaust pics he had posted.
  7. Nice videos but your audio levels seem a-little quiet in the first video compared to the second.
  8. Depends on the weight saving over OEM I guess
  9. Which bushes are you referring to out of interest? Something like this from H-Dev or is there specific bushes that are more responsible than others? http://h-dev.co.uk/product/superpro-350z-front-rear-running-gear-bush-kit-kit5261k-rg/?v=79cba1185463 Great topic WillisRR i replied in your Pistonheads topic before noticing this topic.
  10. I think thats a wise move considering your previous overheating issues, the more airflow the better
  11. Do they fit a 350z tho, that's the burning question or will they rub the transmission tunnel, be too tall etc
  12. Picked up Ghost Recon Wildlands for the Xbox One, seems a laugh with mates in co-op via LIVE but im skeptical of its replay value, have to wait and see I guess. Co-Op FarCry essenially
  13. Ok own up, who won? £925 is reasonable so well done whoever got them, I would have liked them and was watching to see how it went but i dont have the budget for it at the min.
  14. Appreciate that but if it wasnt them that performed that bodge they might wash their hands of it if someone else has tampered. Might also not transfer with the car to new owners etc.
  15. Bickering aside and back on topic. The underside of your car is nasty (fox is the icing)! Id leave the fox for now until you can get underneath and do everything properly, looks like it will benefit from a general tidy up and some rust prevention. As for exhaust, get saving for a replacement now lol. Cobra etc is reasonable
  16. Renault Gordini Blue?
  17. These are what I fitted to my Depo headlights, no complaints so far. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191782061990 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131801559418
  18. ^ This. Along the roof line, Down the A pillar, along the drivers door at the bottom, behind the seat and into the rear 12v. Not had a car with 2x 12v before and its certainly handy for a dashcam!
  19. The 350z lights @ 0:30, whats the proposed solution for the OEM red foglight? The vid only labels: Running, Brake, Indicator and Reverse.
  20. Been there done that. Mine was over the peak district (Ashbourne to Buxton stretch), its all windy former NSL (now 50mph) roads that i travel fairly often and know well but during the summer gets snarled up with tourists, trucks etc you know the type. I get to a well sighted stretch with an opportunity to get past a row of about 4 others who either don't know the roads well enough or don't have the balls to get past the slow one at the front,so I indicate, move out and get about 3 cars along when a car appears at one of the single track side roads.... balls. Sods law, they only check their right for oncoming traffic and don't clock me on their side of the road to their left the wrong way so of course start to pull out and I have to slam on and tuck back into the queue of slow traffic feeling about 2" tall and proceed to sit in the same spot for the rest of that stretch of the journey
  21. The front (grill, scoop, lights etc) reminds me a lot of a Subaru WRX which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Its just the rear that kills it for me, its too fussy and whats with the big sections of plastic effect mesh?
  22. Looking good, the louvers work well with the ducktail spoiler. Which is it by the way, brand/name wise?
  23. A brimmed tank will get me about 2 weeks on average, so probably about £150 per month id say. I'm fortunate enough to live relatively close to my place of work (7 miles, 25mins'ish commute one way). The misses car does the boring stuff like shopping trips, visiting relatives etc. Strict Shell vPower diet mind you, its all about that warm feeling when you get a voucher turn up in the post
  24. Could it be a RevUp that went pop and was replaced with a DE engine? Sucks to be paying the HR tax with a DE tho
  25. EBC are perfectly fine for daily driving, I fitted their Yellow ones to my Megane RS250 and did a couple of track days on them as well, no issues what so ever. They used to have a bit of a bad rep with their old products but their current range is good. Based on your requirements I'd say your mechanics recommendation is spot on from a price point.
