  1. I've got a full cobra system with berks HFCs and it makes a superb burble when pootling along. When giving it the beans the whole region knows about it. It is a bit raspy through lower revs when putting your foot down but I quite like it.
  2. Brings a whole new definition to the game "snap!"
  3. Nice one, you'll have a lot of fun in a Zed
  4. FWD!? That should be interesting, wonder what the rhyme and reason was for that? I'm sure it's a good one.
  5. if the slave has gone then the rubbers that are on it will have perished and be in the mix of the liquid. Perished rubbers = the pedal not returning or, the throw of the clutch peddle will get lower and lower thus so will the bite. Best thing to do is to take it for a test drive and see what happens. You'll know after about 15 minutes of driving, the peddle response/bite will get lower and lower and.....
  6. I didn't even bother watching it. I get tired of the "race through a city" episodes as I really couldn't give a monkey's left bollock if somebody won on a Segway with a BGW. If it's not that, they are abroad crossing yet another country. They might as well just call TopGear "wish you were bloody here" booooo I want an informative show, about all types of cars, not just ones that cost more than £100.000 or " is it possible to change a van into a hovercraft? " yes, i'm sure it bloody well is but let's not make an hour length show on it as again I couldn't give a monkey's left OR right bollock. Pretty soon it'll be three old timers doing something even more absurd like going down the side of a mountain in a bath..... oh wait, that's last of the poxy summer wine.
  7. I did this at the weekend. You'll need to take the headlight unit off to get access to the ballast in order to take it off, which in turn requires the inner arch and bumper to come off too.
  8. if I squint a bit, it looks like an audi A5
  9. Check out this complete nonce http://youtu.be/h00fvD86dp4
  10. Hmmm. Trouble is if you've told him you're coming to test drive the car, it gives them time to cover up anything they don't want you to find. I would've told them I was coming to finish the deal and THEN ask to test drive the car once I was there. Having said that, I really hope it's an honest car and worth the journey, stress and more importantly the hard earned cash!!
  11. It's the Ballast, that's what transfers power to the Xenons. Check that it's not the fuse for the head lights first, but I bet it's the Ballast (which is what they were talking about). If water has got into it due to a damaged inner arch, it'll be kaput.
  12. My wife thinks twice before turning me down for sex, I can tell you. Once in the morning and once in the evening.
  13. they're complimentary to your car. lovely job, they look superb
  14. That's a real shame. Such an arse wipe for not checking the car over. You'd think they'd want a sale. Fancy making someone come all the way down there just to drive a car below its par. Hopefully you'll find a winner. Plenty out there
  15. Wow, never mind between a rock and a hard place eh? He's lucky to be alive for sure.
  16. can you hear the click from the solenoid in the starter motor? ( assuming it has one as I once thought the zed had a rotor arm )
  17. Thanks guys. I'll just check a few things to be absolutely sure as I didn't have the time yesterday.
  18. Bugger!! I didn't think of that .I don't have a GT zed either but I bet the fuse box legends are all the same. I'll have a butchers tomorrow
  19. if he sells it for that price i'm selling up right now
  20. Next to the battery, there is a fuse box, there is also another under the battery that can be got at by way of taking the plastic bit away from between the battery and windscreen. But, I think if you look at the legend on the fuse box lid that can be found next to the battery, it'll tell you what parts the fuses work with.
