if the near side looks newer than the offside it might be because someone has already had a look at it at some point, maybe cleaned it up because they had the same problem. might not be new at all. Maybe the bushes have gone

I like the E90, you can get a fair bit more BHP out of the diesel with a remap. Yes its got every extra you can have in it, and full M Sport spec. Been well looked after by the previous owner. Already had it mapped. ecotek 280hp and 500 ft lbs of torque, it's lethal

interesting example. Agreed it's gramatically OED type wrong. But it's SO common and frequently used by the people here I have figured it's up there same as having an accent or a type of regional slang. This is true of the 2nd Conditional. It used to always be "if I were you...". But since so many English speakers say "was" instead" or "were" it's now accepted in the grammar.

Just for the record, "gotten" is not an Americanism. In the states they speak an older form of English compared to us Brits who speak a more evolved form. The "ten" from gotten is just how it used to be, we've just dropped it off the past participle.

I think most posts just have typos, which doesn't stop someone pointing out your "grammar" mistake. As previously stated, a lot of people don't look up before hitting the send button
