  1. Ouch, ouch, ouch!! That's so unlucky. I really feel for you. Hope the insurance process goes smoothly and that you'll be able to salvage the 350.

    Mclaren P1

Ferraris, they need a re-tune if you drive them more than there are Sundays in a weeks.
  3. That's a pretty impressive kill count you've got there. I think we can safely put down the swatter.
  4. I'm sure i'd have some change left over so... Taa daa!!
  5. I like it, looks really nice overall, I just don't like the name. Alfa have a habit of giving cars crap names, the Guilia? Julia? what next ? The Alfa Romeo Barbara?
  6. i'm off the pulse with current gaming, how come this one is gash? or a con?
  7. If you have a plenum spacer and HFCs and an aftermarket exhaust system with a cold air feed, then yes, it'll run leaner, but the ECU reigns it in a bit which is what brings up the EML. Will it do any damage? No, probably not, even though some members are like old ladies who panic about it and believe it does. Having said that, no zed is the same. No idea if the spacer will work on those de-cats, all i can tell you is, spacers didn't work for my HFCs.
  8. Use G3 or G4 for example, with a polisher. it'll come right out. (use a bit of water too!!)
  9. I LOOOOVE that 5 turbo!!! i love little pocket rockets. Brilliant fun!!
  10. GTO, a brilliant car. 4 wheel steer, 4 wheel drive. Easy power gains.
  11. if you go to modifications in the 350z section, and then click on performance, you'll see a thread "Dyno results" about re-maps/uprev. It shows the results of what people made after their re-maps and some people have put what mods they have done to achieve this. Whether re-mapping is worth it or not is always a debate but it's really up to you! welcome to the forum BTW
  12. 2 x 25mm black Bimecc wheel spacers 2 x 10mm Eibach wheel spacers Bimceccs = £50 inc P&P Eibachs = £40 inc P&P
  13. Being able to present is one thing, having an opinion is quite something else. I'm not implying that any ol'Tom Dick or Harry can write and present but everyone has an opinion, that's all my point is and that's all they give at the end of a review and why? Because they like cars. Here's a news flash, so do millions of people. Perhaps I have missed the point and i'm just carving my own path through this thread and no one is following. i'm going home now to start an argument with my dog. It's a guaranteed win.
  14. No, they are all trained journalists who in 2 cases had worked as motoring correspondents previously, the other had fairly extensive radio exposure before he got the Top Gear gig as well. Peopel rarely end up on telly on the off chance, worse luck But it's still an opinion they're giving. The fact they are or were journalists with experience in motoring correspondence doesn't make any difference so they might as well be just any bloke off the street. Clarkson trashed the Mitsubishi GTO way back in the 90s. But in reality it was and still is a pretty good car. He shat on the Zed but as we all know, it's a pretty good car. One is his opinion and the other is ours.
  15. I know what i'd say if she crashed... "no point crying over spilt milk"
  16. No not necessarily. Just see what codes pop up anyway.
  17. I've got some spacers up for grabs if you like. I can't recall if they're 20 or 25mm. i'll have a check. If you're interested just drop me a pm.
  18. But JC, RH and JM ARE "that generic bloke off the street" they just have an opinion, that's all. We all have them. The fact that they've driven more cars than us is moot. It's still an opinion in the end. I think you should go for it Ekona
  19. There's about 5 in my town. Never saw sight nor sound of one until I got one and then suddenly....
  20. I've got a grey BMW but that's listed in the book as Artic Green!! ( to which there is a smidge of green when it hits the light ) but it's bloody grey for sure.
  21. I think Top Gear entertains a different audience now than it did in the past. It's the old audience who keep banging on about what they lost, which was an informative car programme that the masses could relate to. Not everyone can relate to cars that cost eleventy billion pounds. Don't get me wrong I find it entertaining to a degree, until it gets to the point of just utter stupidity. The novelty wears off after a while, or at least for me anyway.
  22. I don't have an issue with female presenters on car shows, I just can't stand Jodie tossing kid!! Much prefer ol' vic butler.
