when I'm not Zedding I like to : Play guitar (electric ,I have 7, wife thinks I'm spoilt but she has more shoes than a caterpillar) I love a bit of retro gaming NEO GEO style and old arcade games. I have a few old units in the garage such as Outrun, Chase HQ, double dragon etc. I used to go to the gym but that was knocked on the head when i had kids, just no time for it at the moment so I go running a few times a week instead. Finally, I have been on a quest for years to find the best burger in the UK. So far I have travelled far and wide trying out each greasy spoons', restaurants', pubs' delicacies. I keep a tally of which I thought were best in comparison to the previously tasted and commented.

I bet it did sound nice too, not sure that a car that looks like a Ferrari but sounds like an MX5 would fit though.

Lambo doors on a Lambo are fine. Lambos were meant to be alternative and crazy. Lambo doors on most other cars just makes you look like a pretentious knob, even though you're not.

The problem with this is....... it still sounds like an MX-5. Someone in my town has done something similar. It looks like a Ferrari but sounds like an Astra 1.7 TD

There is the Greddy e-manage blue, which is a piggyback and it does work very well but it has limitations compared to a proper stand alone ECU, but that's for turbo charged cars not N/A so I doubt it'd work on the zed.

Depending on how far you go with the flow, Spacers will not stop The EML coming on after installing HFCs or Decats. if it does, then it's witch craft! it'll come on at approximately 1000 miles after the install.

God! there's a fella who lives near me who's got a pug 206 and it's like watching Las Vegas go past on wheels. Utterly ridiculous. But I think Lambo doors on a Zed is o.k at best, at least the zed looks like a car that can pull it off, unlike a fiesta.

You could buy yourself a much higher spec/modified RX7 for less. I don't care that it's a midnight club car, midnight nothing for 35k.

Check the dust shield behind the disc, it may be warped, best thing to do is put the NS window down and go round a round about, you'll definitely hear it then.

thanks for the replies guys!! Just out of interest, I currently have a cobra system to which someone has back into and cracked the OS outlet pushing it back thus cracking it. Can I get away with just buying a back unit to fit to the mid section of the cobra?? I'm going to predict probably not.

Has anyone changed to a large single bore back unit? If so what did you go for and what buggering about did it involve?

I still like the idea of getting R34 Gt! My brother has one. Easy power gains and with the suspension set up correctly, you can make the barge corner like a house fly.
