  1. Welcome to the local club not that I actually go on any meets or anything.... :ninja: :ninja:
  2. I wasn't aware of this, might give it a miss then as they're difficult to come across anyway! Works fine on my iphone 7
  3. It may not help but here's a photo of mine. How many connectors did you have to put in?looks like there should be 3. I can only think of 3 maybe 4 controls points that would go in around there - Amp/Steering wheel controls for stereo/Steering wheel controls for bluetooth/Air con I think at the point my photo was taken the aircon controls were still plugged into the white box and I think those controls are ribbons rather than wire plugs. Edit I just looked at the BOSE hack guide and there should be 3 plugs going into the stereo. See steps 10 & 35 http://www.350z-uk.c...pod-hack-guide/ Edit 2 I think the 3 connectors are AMP/Steering Wheel controls/OEM SAT. NAV. http://www.350z-uk.c...on/#entry216215
  4. Think I have a wing mirror surround inc. motor but not the actual mirror. The mirrors are something ridiculous like £80 each
  5. These are all fine,as you've got terms of reference, there just an easier way of referring to something. But giving completely arbitrary names
  6. I paid £545 (for all 4) with fitting and balance last summer and it was good deal then. If stocks are low then I guess they've gone up. I got mine through Asda tyres, yes that Asda. They have a 10% code thats been running for years - enter 140 then 7 random digits.
  7. looks standard to me (both links)
  8. This thread may be of interest http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/49179-little-known-facts-about-the-350z/
  9. Perhaps gamble on Faraday Future
  10. I created a spreadsheet with all the info, well except the pollen filter. I don't know about that. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31107-service-schedule-for-a-350z/page__st__60#entry1676391
  11. Are these all savings accounts you can have without opening a current account? I thought having too many bank accounts was bad for your credit score? I've got a 30% housing deposit in a stocks and shares ISA, but I sold all the stocks around 18 months ago so its just sitting in cash on a S&S ISA. Which means its generating next to nothing. I didn't want to take it out of the ISA wrapper as it took years to build up the total value and was hoping the cash ISA rate might rise at some point. I put the full amount into the first direct monthly saver and a Halifax help to buy ISA, but there's more I could do. The Zeditis is wearing off...
  12. For me I just don't think the 370 looks as nice as the 350, too large.
  13. Simple question, but I can't find the answer online. Whats the roof made of? I was wondering if I could temporarily attach something to it, from the inside, through the roof liner, with a magnet. (cars parked a 5 minute walk away, so I can't check it right now) Had to go use my car anyway - the roofs magnetic but there's to much of a gap between the roof trim and the roof for my cunning plan to work!
  14. Who's idea was it for it to be sent to the cleaners? That's not a normal MOT thing. If your relative requested in to be cleaned, then wouldn't the liability shift to the cleaners, as you stated above that the cleaner was in it when the accident occurred? Presumably the end cost will be picked up by them some how. If you claim against the garages insurance, won't they then claim against the cleaners insurance (not that that should impact your relative in any way).
  15. If your okay with getting the car up on jacks and taking the undertray off, its easy. I can adjust the tensioner by putting my (skinny) arms down behind the radiator and not getting the car up on jacks, you may be able to replace the whole thing that way.
  16. Does the 370z have a bose system? If so it could be something to do with the Bose Audio Pilot ? http://worldwide.bose.com/axa/en_au/web/popup_automotive_audiopilot/page.html
  17. If you'r starting a new career in any field you need to consider the role that automation might have. I doubt train drive/conductor will even be a job in 10 years time.
  18. I've got a resonated one and the drone is a bit much specifically around 60mph. I've tried to mitigate it with dynamat all over my boot and 2 layers of carpet underlay
  19. Hold up, what's wrong with my grammar? The titles missing a pluralisation, I was only joking though. I can't change my spell check from american, its a bit of a nightmare. Back on topic, were you joking about having the ESP off? Having the ESP off combined with mismatched budget tyres is crazy.
  20. About as bad as your grammar I had mid level tires on my car up until late this year, the only time they've ever spun on me is going too fast in the wet around corners. Is your traction control turned off?
  21. To add to my woes I've also got a dash cam. It totaled my last battery in ~9 months. I can't trickle charge very easily, so I've resorted to using 2 batteries, keeping one on trickle charge and then swapping it for the one in the car each month. Changing the battery is a right PITA.

    .

Sand it down and re-paint. You're probably best just getting a respray, I'd expect ~£400-600 for a bonnet and bumper respray.
