  1. Hi Guys, There are not many things on the road these days that is nicer than the mighty Zed. The stainless steel engraved tax disc holder shows the Zed on the rear, which is a constant reminder that you are sitting in one of the best looking cars going. I bought this for my last Zed (had 3) and removed it when I sold it. Knee operation followed by illness meant that I never got to put it on another Zed. Now it is your chance. It cost me £25 and I will ask the same. Post included. Thanks for looking and stay safe.
  2. Will do mate. There is also an orange one near Metal Box and a grey one in Sandy Lane that I have seen parked up. I have a black 04 Zed and never see any others when I am in it and there has never been so many around. 6 years ago, my old one was the only one I knew of in the area.
  3. I spotted a JDM Black 350Z, J999*** around 4.25 today on Blandford Road Hamworthy Poole. I often see this car - lowered and looking good - when I am on my way home in my Black Shogie. I probably wave like a muppet which is why he probably ignored me:-). Regularly.
  4. Donald Trump - just to see if his hair is a f***ed up as mine
  5. Spotted a tidy Blue UK GT near Hamworthy Park in sunny Poole today around 2.45. FV05***
  6. Enjoy your Zed and welcome to the Forum. The smile doesn't go away.

Most people that know what they're looking for will aim to get something from 2006 onwards to avoid any of the quirks of the earlier model. That may have something to do with the inflation of the price to some degree Every Z has quirks it doesn't matter which one you go for So does every owner and potential owner which is why the price is what it is. Makes sense eh? Like This Quote MultiQuote
  8. Thanks again guys. Buy you a pint if we meet . Found the superseded number ok and that is the item that I wanted. There was a bit of plastic stuck in the recess so I thought they were plastic. GM please close this thread. I think you guys have had enough of this
  9. Original Poster. Sounds civilised. Thanks bud.
  10. Alex, I got the part number ok each time thanks. I Googled it but nothing came up which is why I asked again where I could look for myself mostly for my own peace of mind. I found the air spoiler bit in my downloaded manual but couldn't find the part number on the drawing. Sorry if I was being a complete f***wit but it is hard being me
  11. I left Glasgow too as I was getting rusty . The W brace underneath always shows superficial rust and gives the impression that the car is rotten. I am on my 3rd Zed and they were all that way on the brace but the rest was fine. Once that is replaced or refurbed it will look better. I got mine from Poole/Midlands and Berkshire so maybe you need to travel a bit to get a decent one. Good luck with that.
  12. Thanks guys. I guessed what the name of it was, knowing full well that I would be corrected and the parts found. Been on the Forum for 6 years + and had 3 Zeds yet still don't know much . Jon, Yes that is the main part with the holes for the bolts/screws but it also it held in place by the plastic clips that I was looking for. Thanks. Alex, Thanks. I knew you would find the answer Where do i find the par number you mentioned? GM. Thanks. What is "OP"? Hopefully the abuse I deserve for being a muppet describing the item.
  13. Hi Alex, Thanks. It is not the underneath bolts and retainers , it is the plastic u shape clips that push in to join the front lip and the bumper together. I screen printed a page from my manual but could not get it on here. Jon, I doubt if many have them on their cars and I would guess that a speed hump would soon shift them. cheers Gordon
  14. Thanks guys. To be honest I don't actually know what they look like but the are not speed clips (or spire nuts as I know them). I tried these and they didn't hold for long. I don't want to put self tappers through it in case I catch it again and it damages the bumper lip. I also have shed loads of push button clips but these are not the right kind. I even used impact adhesive but it sprung out again and looks shabby. I could go direct to Nissan but would rather use Forum traders.
