  1. With new builds you need to check what happens when you find something wrong with the building work. What are TW responsible for and for how long. I'd be tempted to ask them how much for the shell of the house and get your own plumbers/sparkies in to finish it off.
  2. The guy who fitted mine refused to put any tint on the sides as it would take it over the limit.
  3. Everything's with Hargreaves Lansdown in a S&S ISA + LISA I just go to their Wealth 150+ selection and pick funds based on diversifying what I've already got and whats traditional had a good returns http://www.hl.co.uk/...unds/wealth-150
  4. Dark smoke on the rear and 35 on the rear 1/4's. For some reason I can't post images directly but anything after post 1 in my build thread will show images (link in signature) http://i1310.photobu...zps7h6eemog.jpg http://i1310.photobu...zpscgfw2isv.jpg http://i1310.photobu...zpsflpcci3q.jpg
  5. I don't know what I'm doing and I return 5-10% per year. Most of money is in fund accounts so its slightly less risky. I think its fairly easy most of the time, the nack is getting out before there's a crash as you can lose all the profit you've built up over years in a few hours. Its very easy to get cocky when your making money from nothing.
  6. So whats the problem ? Sounds completely normal to me. I'd be ecstatic if i could stay focused all day. From the sounds of it you had a period of hardly any sleep and your body has just adjusted to that so it can get by on less sleep than it used to. I've found it more difficult to sleep in as I age, but don't think there is anything wrong with that. Part of me thinks its down to a short attention span brought on by the modern world (need to check them emails), but mostly its just that I need to get up to have a wee.
  7. If you keep the Bose system but upgrade the HU, There's a hack you need to do otherwise the volume is severely limited. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107583-how-to-busters-rca-headunit-volume-fix-guide/ If you but a second hand Bose HU, its worth noting that each HU is linked to the original cars ECU. You'll need to get an unlock code from Nissan to use a Bose HU from another car in your car. I don't know the cost but knowing Nissan its probably ~£50
  8. I've noticed it on pretty much every forum I frequent, almost always occurs in the off topic section.I just don't go there these days.
  9. I've updated the guide to included the recommended service parts and quantities and links to any guides and traders. Let me know if I've got anything wrong.
  10. iphone SMS messages don't look like that. I'm not sure but is it spoof text message produced by a suspect app you have on your phone? Is your phone jail broken? it would be very odd if it wasn't. ***Edit *** Apparently its a 'flash SMS' rather than a normal SMS. Its Spam but I don't think its dangerous or that there's much you can do about it. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7554641?start=0&tstart=0
  11. Not really, I've dyamated the whole rear up to the strut brace and laid down 2 layers of sound deadening underlay and it hardly made any difference. I did a non scientific test using a DB meter app on my iphone and cruise control at 65 mph round a loop of the a motorway. The DB was reduced from a max of 53 DB to max of 49 DB but the average DB was the same
  12. Not sure, but when i was looking at it people were just cleaning the carbon of the commutator not actually replacing the brushes. can't view the video as i'm at work, but his should explain the process. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69810-how-to-repairfix-your-cooling-fan-motors-youtube-vid/
  13. Its worth pointing out the Mishimottos are a lot louder than the OEM fans. I'd try and find someone local who has them and give them a listen. Ruins the idle sound IMO. If I was in the same situation I'd buy OEM. I have the mishimottos and can't fault the cooling, but would recondition the OEM ones first. Usually all thats wrong is carbon has built up on the contacts.
  14. Search for ultra compact car USB plugs. There are plenty that sit flush or almost flush with the socket.
  15. The manufacturer doesn't really matter that much when it comes to familiarity, its the OS that matters. Presumably his phone is running android, so any android tablet would probably suffice. I've got a Samsung galaxy tab pro, the Samsung apps are garbage and I've not been that overly impressed with the tablet itself. The battery dies after ~3 years (new battery can be DIY'd for ~£30) and at low volumes there is a buzzing sound. The buzzing is a common problem with my particular tablet, so may not be representative of all Samsungs.
  16. I get kids drawing flowers etc. in the beads of water on my car after it rains....
  17. Thats exactly what it does. Just buy a pair of vintage steel toe cap boots and you'd have the same effect.and maybe try bare foot for eco mode
  18. If the fuel gauge isn't working would the 'miles until empty' read out still work?
  19. It could just be that the price has dropped to a level where there are more youngsters behind the wheel and its becoming a high risk car. Or on a similar note the 350z's reputation/statistics in america might be fianlly having an influence over here. Nissan bringing it home with 4 of top 10 deadliest vehicles in 2015.... http://www.cheatshee...html/?a=viewall
  20. Brake fluid is topped up, brakes lights are working, no ob2 codes. What next? The fault lights only kick in medium breaking but once on they stay on. Th fault will trigger from stationary, there doesn't have to be a load on the brakes What would be causing the brake pedal to knock when I start the engine? If there was air in system would this cause it, the fluid should have been changed in October. ****Edit**** Scrap that its the brake lights, looks to be intermittent. Would that be causing the pedal knock though?
  21. I was driving a fiat 500 diesel ecoflex before my Z. The specialist insurers on here wouldn't touch me for a year, but the big ones had no issue. Think i went with admiral first time round.
  22. Good point, but I think most large upload sites strip out the data (excluding Facebook obviously). I've just switched from Photobucket to imgur and hadn't checked, but can confirm imgur also strip out the data Its called exif data rather than meta data, it stores a lot more than just the GPS. If your getting into photography its really useful info.
