  1. It means they are sentenced to serve that time in prison but they don`t actually have to go to prison. The sentence is suspended for a set period of time, usually 12 months or 18 months, etc. and unless they get into trouble again within that period they wont serve any of the sentence. If they do get into trouble they can be sent to prison to serve this original sentence.
  2. I think suspending any sentence for anything is like saying - "this is what you deserve but we`re going to let you off with it". If someone deserves, and, is sentenced to prison time for their crime, they should go to prison.
  3. Hi and welcome. Good luck with the new car. I`d only sat in one in the showroom before I got mine.
  4. Ok. But I`m more often in the wife`s than mine so if you see some numpty waving frantically in a white Mokka it`s just me.
  5. Looks familiar. Seem to remember seeing it/something similar recently/last few days on/around Outer Circle Rd. But then, with my memory, it could have been some other time or somewhere else around Lincoln, or a completely different car.
  6. I`ve got a similar very old/large/solid vice on a very solid and heavy workbench which I managed to obtain when I started work at Gardner Diesel Engines in the 70s from one of the old machine shops that got closed. Still going strong after 40 years (plus however many years before I got it) and moved both around with me to 5 different houses now.
  7. Two 350s, a black and a silver, parked in Tesco car park, Lincoln, about 2.30 this afternoon.
  8. It probably would have been a better day out if we`d have driven over in the Zed but we were with friends in their Peugeot.
  9. A silver/grey 350 (I`m never sure exactly which colour it is) parked near to the railway station this afternoon, with an aftermarket wing, possibly a Nismo but I`m also not exactly sure what the Nismo wing is. But most of all, I`m not exactly sure why we went to Cleethorpes on such a crappy, cold, miserable day,. although, the chips and fish were nice.
  10. Hi and welcome. Only the drivers seats have height adjustment. The passenger seat is just forwards, backwards and rake. The wife uses a cushion if we go any distance.
  11. I believe the 370 doesn`t have it - which is quite a poor show really on a modern car.
  12. Love the look of old British trucks. When I left school in 1977 I started work at Gardner Diesel Engines and there was always several around the factory, mostly Fodens and ERF`s though.
  13. Good luck with the new car. What a great feeling it is when you pick up a brand new car on the first day of the new Reg. I can still remember when I popped out in my lunch break to pick mine up on the 1st March over 4 years ago now.
  14. I still found it really cheap, usually around £230/£250. before we moved from M29, although, LN2 is now ridiculously cheap..
  15. Sounds a bit pricey compared to my £182 .. (and £26 cash back from Quidco ).. I find GoCompare always comes up with the cheapest.
  16. Yes, they are just like the original ones.
  17. Ebay, item number: 331942454724 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Rubber-bleed-screw-caps-brake-bleed-nipple-caps-grease-nipple-covers-NC1Bx10-/331942454724?hash=item4d494fe5c4:g:1LQAAOSwOMdZSXrp £2.90 for 10
  18. I`ve just got some off Ebay. eBay item number: 331942454724 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Rubber-bleed-screw-caps-brake-bleed-nipple-caps-grease-nipple-covers-NC1Bx10-/331942454724?hash=item4d494fe5c4:g:1LQAAOSwOMdZSXrp £2.90 for 10 and fit just fine.
  19. Hi and welcome. It`s the usual thing to flash and wave to other zeds on the roads and put it on here too but I hardly ever see any about and none ever seem to be on here if I post it.
  20. Hi and welcome. When I got my 370 I didn`t find the clutch any different or any harder to get used to than any other new car I`d had. I believe there is a slight tint to the windows (as with most new cars nowadays).
  21. I think it would look good with some nice after market wheels and, also, people wouldn't be wondering why a Nismo has got standard 370 wheels on.
  22. Renewed mine 1st March and it was cheapest ever. Helped by the new post code but not to the extent as to have cancelled out any large rise I wouldn't think.
  23. When we moved last year the wife was going to have to give her job up or do a 140 mile each way commute. It was only very briefly questioned by the mortgage adviser at the building society when we first went in to fill in the initial application, At that time we were still toying with the idea that she might keep the job until she found a new one over here and stay over there to do her 3 shifts but when it came to the move she just packed it in and we never heard from/had any problem/contact from the building society about it. I presume they don`t check and were none the wiser/not really interested as long as you make the payments.
  24. The wife`s been insured on mine since I got it just over 4 years ago. Not driven it once yet. Says she`d be terrified of scratching it. Works for me too.
  25. It must be the colour. They all settle on mine soon as I`ve washed it. (I don`t wax it).
