  1. Hi & welcome. Nice colour (& stripe work) ……..
  2. I wasn`t going to mention it, but, yeah it looked like it needed a clean ……
  3. Triton Rd outside B&M about 4pm today?
  4. I`ve got a few. All black, no colour, and mostly dragons/tribal on shoulders/upper arms/chest, nothing car related. First one just over 40 years ago and last one about 8 or so ago. I used to enjoy playing about with designs and where to put them but think I`m done with them now.
  5. So this is why all the poorer countries are scrabbling to sign up? They get more out of it than us £ for £.....? " It's quite a twisted view of the world we live in especially as half the money we pay to EU is returned to us and is invested frequently in poorer regions like Wales, NI, etc." So if we leave all of the money can be invested in our own poorer regions?
  6. It`s a game every year come renewal time to get the cheapest price. I`ve been with Hastings Direct for the past couple years. Originally it was around £180. Renewal last year was still around the same price. Renewal this year went up to about £240. When I rang them to cancel the auto renewal they could get it down to around £200 but no lower. I took out new insurance with them via GoCompare £180 (and due £26 cash back from Quidco for using GoCompare). Same with the bike insurance. Was cheaper to take out a new policy via GoCompare with the same company I was already with than accept their renewal price. (and some cash back due again). You couldn`t make it up could you...
  7. I got an 18 plate Nismo as a courtesy car instead of the usual Micra couple weeks ago whilst having mine serviced and found that, as beautiful as the seats look, they were pretty uncomfy. The bolsters at each side at the bottom dug in rather than supported (and I don`t have a large backside), and, with the harder suspension, we felt every bump and pot hole in the crappy city streets around Manchester.
  8. Tesco Momentum for me. 2nd nearest , cheapest and Club Card points for a free meal at Prezzo`s a few times a year.
  9. That`s got to be the biggest step-up to date. Congratulations and welcome to the Z club. Nice wheels.
  10. Is that a carpet sample stuck to the dash? The steering wheel just offends my eyes.
  11. I only got it cos I thought it would be more comfortable for the wife on the back than the GSXR but she later decided it wasn`t, although, it was for me, not having her leaning down on my shoulders. I liked the feel of just lazily cruising around on it and not having to be thrashing it everywhere to feel like it was fun, although, I still had the GSXR at the same time for when I did get that urge. The ZXR is a cut & shut job then ?...
  12. I did have this for a few years which was my only foray into cruisers, sports bikes and trail/supermoto being my usual type, but, I did really like it and enjoyed the big V twin which is why I chose the RSVR this time.
  13. Yeah, in 1977, there was 2 of us going school on mopeds, my gold FS1E and another lad had a blue SS50. I had a ZXR750 in purple & black, from new, after the ZXR400 got stolen out the garage but had to sell it at the first divorce, in 1997, as it was the only thing of any value that I left with. I`ve got plenty of spare time to ride the RSVR now but limited by the cost of how much fuel I can keep putting in it - mpg is probably not much different to the Zed.
  14. Nice. I`ll be looking out for it around Lincoln.
  15. I`ve been into bikes since I first had a FS1E to go to school on (and before then on the fields) and have always had at least one in the garage for the last 40+ years (except during a couple of divorces and the last house move). Now have this for warm sunny days blasting around the Lincolnshire countryside;
  16. I traded in my RCZ Gt200 for the 370. The 370 is far better in terms of outright performance, acceleration, speed, etc. but the RCZ was probably better in every other way, practicality, economy, equipment, etc.
  17. My response to this question, as always, is; I don`t think we get enough nice weather (last summer excepted) in this country to make it worthwhile having a soft top. You have to put up with not having a proper roof on the car all through the cold, wet, crappy winter (and summer) weather just for the odd few occasions when it`s nice enough to get the top down. And, as above, the coupe looks far nicer.
  18. I`ve found, since we moved, Lincolnshire is just lots of empty countryside and still take mine back over to Manchester for a service.
  19. That`s what it is for mine, 9K miles or 12 months.
  20. I seem to remember several reports of previous similar circumstances which turned out to be a scam. Car ridiculously cheap, owner has moved away, car can be delivered, etc. Be very wary. If it is genuine check for a dodgy steering lock, it should be working with the fuse not removed, to avoid the costly repair when it fails. I suspect there will be a few around now where the owner has just removed the fuse to avoid the £1000 or so to replace the lock.
  21. Yeah, I always love hearing that each time I go cinema.
  22. The train crash in Super 8. Mission Elan system - could feel the vibrations in the sofa.
