  1. Hey guys, I've not had tyre wear like this before, just wondered about what it's likely to have been caused by. I only noticed it recently when doing some work but I can only guess that when I changed my outer tie rods, it was a week or so until I had an alignment done. Could it have come from that ? (note in the alignment they only changed the toe f&r - the camber is slightly different as I raised the car a touch) Yes, just patiently waiting for a whole new set to arrive (ADO8r) Just after I installed the SPL out tie rods (10th-ish Nov) Alignment 17th Nov (probably 150 miles later roughly) What I found recently !
  2. It's definitely a cost thing and whatever you can get done for that. At my friends detailing place, another mutual friend bought his Cossie Monte Carlo over - it had been resprayed the original colour (Mallard Green) but the finish was absolutely outstanding ! I've never seen such a good paint job (especially under his lights). But that was a £6k job
  3. Really great day, not just for the track day but to finally catch up in person ! Your car is excellent, lovely sound to it and it really goes, I'm going to be even more jealous after your next round of spannering My first track day in quite some time, apexes seemed several meters away for me Looking forward to the next one, and I'm praying my tyres arrive this week
  4. I can attest that it was looking very clean at the start on Sunday ! At the end of the day...well Na it was still very clean
  5. Yep, I've literally just bought a resonated centre section for my exhaust, hopefully will get me through ! (until the PPE's arrive )
  6. I'll be having a chin-wag with 350Butcher at Silverstone, so I'm sure we'll come up with a rough bottom end shopping list. However, if anyone else has some experience on parts, please do chime in.
  7. HUGE thank you again sir ! i've no idea how you got it out soo quickly in the last minute. I hope you are enjoying yourself on this well earned holiday More bits very soon
  8. Some more bits and pieces will be arriving soon ! One of them will require a wrap and a remap (PPE goodness) So, in the name of science and trying to show the process, I will have the car remapped again prior to any engine gubbins being replaced. An order for the guts will come, and I'm just going through the process of what to order for that. Of course I'm doing those things really to help with the oil consumption and to see if it'll help it further up the rev range. I'll probably come back with an approximate list of what I'm intending to do, so once again feel free to comment. The latest addition was Andy's Kaaz 1.5 diff, which is in ! Although probably coming back out so I can fit a different cover and some other little bits
  9. Have a look on YouTube, plenty on there. Just take care with a pressure washer.
  10. These will be my next tyres too in the next few weeks. Coming from MPSS & MPS4, looking forward to a change.
  11. Many thanks, I'll have my name down for one if you manage to get another sorted!
  12. I'd more than likely put my name down when I can think a bit clearer (family stuff), as having the use of ABS is useful when it's raining or not ideal conditions. Disabling ABS is actually pretty useful by just pulling that one fuse though. Good work!
  13. I can try and find out what little info he is able to share but tbh it doesn't bother me as I don't use it. It's like debating over shampoo, use what you want
  14. They were excellent when I had a problem (1 was leaking), so with their support you'll be happy. But I can understand your concern, keep us updated.
  15. The guy I was talking about had been running tests, he's wasn't allowed to disclose the exact information for legal reasons but gave a vague hint. Maybe on our cars it doesn't matter but I'm sticking with vpower, put whatever you want in yours
  16. I stick with V-power since I bought my Z. I don't like all of the additives they put into Momentum to bring the octane rating up, and I know an old friend ditched them when they were sponsoring his race cars. That was enough for me to avoid it.
  17. Hey, it's pending finances, and some other things going on at the moment. The next few months I'd like to do the differential, harness bar or 4 point roll cage, long tube headers, get some track days in of course and the usual bits (tyres/pads). So the rest of the engine won't be considered until next winter (or later) unless there's an issue beforehand. You can notice a bit of a difference, so if you need to get a move on you want to drop it down a cog or two but it's soo much stronger at the top now. It really feels quite different to stock in a good way.
  18. I like track car builds (I'm not keen on the bonnet graphic but the slashes look pretty cool !)
  19. I've never liked minis, or these fatties, each to their own of course but what's with those bloody awful rear lights Tacky as fk.
  20. I like POR15. Have a look on YT, see what you think, dries like a paint not horrible gunky shite.
  21. I'm still on the driftworks front upper arms.. Heh, I think I need to update them too.
