  1. What choice is there for the toe adjustment if you don't have 'true coilovers' - and still rely on the spring bucket ? (ignoring £600+ option) As it looks like the adjustable toe arms replace that no ?
  2. Not bad, saving pretty much £300 compared to their own site.
  3. I'm glad you brought this up Growling as I'm just about to purchase a few bits for the rear as well. I'm on Bilstein B6/Tein S spings and was going to get the rear adjustable camber arms with lockout bolts. But now it sounds like there won't be much choice to adjust the toe, hmm. EDIT: Ok, I just did some more reading (always helps), and now have realised the toe adjustment is from the oval washer on the spring bucket arm. So an adjustable camber arm + lock out washers should be fine, and will just have to hope for now there is enough adjustment on the bolts (I do have the eibach bolts in a box somewhere).
  4. Weheeey I didn't spot this until now. Finally, although it's a pity that you've had to do this but it's awesome nonetheless mate
  5. I'd recommend getting them skimmed as well, worth having done imho. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/97748-marcus-disc-skimmers-excellent/
  6. At least you won't get told off for being on the forum now, it's 'work'
  7. Yeah I went in a mates one last year - it was RIDICULOUSLY fast. Easily mapped to over 700bhp too.
  8. iirc the UK does actually have one of the very lowest prices for fuel... that's prior to our lovely government then putting duty AND vat on top of it. Perhaps if they stopped giving money to countries that don't require it, stop pretending to fight bs wars and sort out the sponging fookers over here, they wouldn't need to
  9. Looking forward to seeing how it shapes up, loving it so far
  10. I wish I had money to do stuff like this Adrian, get some finance on the site
  11. I posted this a while ago but might as well pop it up here. I found their blog pretty interesting to read, specifically on this intake: Part 1: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/06/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-1-intro-goals-and-initial-fabrication/ Part 2: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/07/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-2-fabrication-completion/ Part 3: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/08/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-3-dyno-testing-and-results/ Part 4: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/09/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-nissan-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-4-final-prototype-assembly/ I'm putting it on a wishlist, a few bits I'm after in the coming months mate and apologies if you didn't want the links up

    Traction

Yes those things are the obvious BUT with my friends car, he was on the Bridgestones (this was pre MPSS), car serviced, aligned etc etc - and I'm sure it was failed bushings. It was a 'Friday car' - on a test drive after one main servicing going from 5th to 6th - the gear stick dropped down like it was going to go into reverse on the motorway

    Traction

Aside from the things which others have said, my friend had a Z many years ago that also would do this. My one doesn't at all, and I suspected that it could be bushings which are worn out. So I'd recommend at least inspecting them after cleaning to see the condition, I can't remember how easy it is to check the differential bushings but also do it if you can.
  14. Very good kit, and worth doing imho.
  15. I sorted it out myself with help from Adrian supplying the kit: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94723-rocker-cover-grommets-no-need-to-replace-entire-rc/
  16. There are a few threads on this kind of stuff on the my350z site for ex: http://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/601891-upper-plenum-project-75mm-maxima-tb.html http://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/578133-87mm-tb-project.html Will keep an eye on this
  17. If you just think its one "country" cheating you're an imbecile, more cold war BS in the media, what a surprise. (note - that's not pointed at anyone)
  18. Not my fault.
  19. I like what he has done. My shopping list definitely includes the diff, and rear camber arms next.
  20. I've not even watched it yet, just saw it pop up... Here is the list of parts and bits done: https://www.wheelwell.com/profile/54ff583d3cc054e476621b66/vehicles/54ff58953cc054e476621b73/parts/#Parts
  21. Something most people don't mention or realise that made a difference for me was to replace the transmission mount (which deteriorates, sloppy shifting feel etc). I used a poly one, which is probably too harsh for most however Hardrace make a decent rubber version which H-dev sell, or whomever you want to use to supply. Ex: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=54&products_id=25700 Just an idea, and worth searching and reading about.
  22. One vital piece of info missing (well, I didn't spot it) Budget?

    Brake fluid

Don't shoot the messenger - just ask Motul.

    Brake fluid

6 months is for what I mentioned, Motul RBF600 (or after each track day). The stuff I use, TYP200 (which WAS superblue) can be done every couple of years iirc (or after every track day, advisable imho).

    Brake fluid

I use ATE TYP200, you get a litre in the tin and it's very good value, and nearly the same spec as Motul RBF600 (which is meant to be changed every 6 months, very expensive imho).
