Looking GRAND Chris, looks like the skies have been favourable.

If the weather stays reasonable how soon till the roof is complete with tiles?

Should start the roof middle of next week so 3 weeks from now if the weather holds we should be in and dry

The old Bridgeport milling machine, that bring back memories. The build is coming along nicely Chris, is this new build the the old Z shed renovated or a completely new construction? Also who's garden is this being constructed in. B) B) :)

Completely new from the ground up, it's in my back garden so it's nice and easy to sneak off to the "shed" when the wife's not looking

Looks awesome when can we move in lol?

After Christmas mate might even throw a "Garage warming" party

A very good evening to one and all :)

Quick update to keep you up to speed before I pop out for the rest of the night,

so last Wednesday the scaffolding went up and they started to put the felt and battens on

S1051325_zpspwryiyb7.jpg

so I took Thursday and Friday of work and we (Andy and I) started on the inside :)

100mm of celotex and a 9mm ply covering

by Friday night the roofers were done until the tiles arrive next Thursday :( but at least I am in the dry now :yahoo:

Andy stayed on late so we could get the main roof finished

S1051331_zpswgxofeyi.jpg

A bitter sweet end as it's his last day on the build :( He has done an absolutely amazing job and if you want some building work done he is your man

He will be back in the spring to lay the patio though so not all bad and I'm sure he and his Zed won't be strangers to the new Zed Shed II

Saturday Buster, Mrs K and myself got on with the lower ceiling and got it finished

S1051332_zpsmzte9drr.jpg

Sunday saw Mrs K and I back at it (Oh Err)

Loft insulated and boarded out

S1051333_zpsmzodm0kn.jpg

Shuttering removed from the ramp pits (at last)

S1051336_zpsnzcdn31k.jpg

and to finish we put up the panel for the electric distribution board and started on the wall lining.

Except for Mrs K splitting her head open on a joist it was a very productive weekend.

More soon

Thanks for your kind words Chris.

I did feel a tinge of sadness pulling out of the drive for the last time Friday evening but I'm so pleased we have got the job done considering the legal delays and then the bad weather of late.

It has been a pleasure working for you both.

Great progress this weekend and I hope Kim's head isn't too bad.

Looking forward to sitting back and watching the interior fixtures being installed.

Flashing Blade signing out! Lol

Good Evening :)

Just a quick update,

I fitted the loft hatch,

S1051341_zpst2mujdak.jpg

The electric feed and fuse box is in with just 1 socket to keep me going until the fit out is finished, no more extension leads from the house :yahoo:

S1051342_zpskn8wgbzs.jpg

Then Charlie sent over one of his umpa lumpas to help out,

S1051340_zps2qvcuvps.jpg

Looks very similar to Mrs K but it's can't be as she is scared of heights!!!! I mean standing on a chair freaks her out :scare:

It could be the bang on the head that got her up there or she just wants the Zed Shed finished and me out of the house

Any way she got on with the painting

and we are now here -
