Keyser Posted March 20, 2013 Author Posted March 20, 2013 So been trying a few more things with the P C Buster had a go ] His Chipped NISMO gear knob re done looks good I tried some more colours Lovely candy purple that someone may like Pile is getting bigger I have a spare one of these so I had a practice Sand blasted but sanded out some of the the casting marks Masked up Unfortunately I B****d up the clear coat - not happy with the finish - but that's why we practice So while I was cleaning that back to off again hard to get back off I can tell ya! I put some more through the process Think this is going to be LOUD underneath as well More to come 1 Quote

Keyser Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 As you know I was not happy with the plenum and black is boring so after only 2 hours sandblasting That powder coat is hard to remove!!! We were back to here Then the magic And after lacquer we have close up I also wanted to try powder coating the dash so I experimented with this I did a melt test it fails at 130 Degrees But I am developing a technique that seems to give good results (this is a broken dash panel) More to come 1 Quote
