Paddy78 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Important update. Fitting is now much simpler as I realised today that I could access the door locking wire from further up the loom and can splice into it easily by just removing the door speaker. I did this this morning and its so much easier Nice work! Can't say I was particularly looking forward to removing the window glass! Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 So no removal of glass? Just wanted to make sure. Quote

flyboy Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 What are the ods of a photo fitting guide? I feel much more confident now i dont have to remove the mirrir glass but still would rather have photos I have put a guide up which explains the differences between this module and the excellent cookbot photo guide. I will add a couple of photos to show the connection behind the speaker but in essence follow cookbots guide and swap his colours on his module for the colours of the wires on my unit as explained wire by wire in my guide.
