Mega Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 40k for the body kit. WHAT? lol. Looks ridiculous. I appreciate the work that's gone into it but it looks ridiculous. Quote
rabbitstew Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Does anyone else thing the car looked brilliant in the original before shot? The owner clearly has issues, as why would you spend ages having crappy 1970`s air brushed murals done all over it like some old hot-rod or lorry? Then getting bored with that try and turn it into a porsche? Madness! Quote
Stew Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 It was rubbish as a fake GTR and it's rubbish as a fake porsche. Quote
rabbitstew Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 It was rubbish as a fake GTR and it's rubbish as a fake porsche. Reminds me of those people who get a 1989 MR2 and stick a ferrari replica body on it. I saw one the other day for sale, it even had 4 tail pipes and a fake ferrari engine cover to make it look like it was real. Only problem was it would have still sounded like a nissan micra when they started the thing up. Quote
EH 370z Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Yes a massive amount of work gone into that, so fair play. TBH I quite like the interior too. Not my cup of Darjeeling though I'm afraid Quote
Dblock Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I like it lol. I think it's more carrera gt then panamera Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I like some (only some) aspects of it tbh, the interior is pretty funky Its the wheels that kill it, they just look lost and hideous... Quote
Chris`I Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 To be fair I've seen far far worse than that - some bits of it do look ok. Quote
Cro Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 The pic of the real panamera makes it look like a little tonka toy car Quote
Gibby Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I think it looks better than the boxster & cayman!! not to sure about the pimped out white interior though! Quote
chippychip123 Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I actually really like that apart from the fact that it's a fake and always will be . But at least the door handles look original and he's kept a Z on the boot Quote
coldel Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I just wonder why turn it into one of the most hideous looking Porsches ever designed...at least convert it into a 350z Dino or something! Quote
glrnet Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 More money than sense IMHO but then each to their own Quote
Ekona Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 The wheels are shockingly bad, but I absolutely love the rest of it. It looks purposeful and aggressive, and with the shorter length the design doesn't look as 'stretched cigar' as the proper Panny does. Stunning. And so much better than it was before, too. Quote
LRF4N Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 If it wasn't slammed with gay wheels it would look quite nice. Nicer than the panamera anyway Quote
UNABASHED Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I love it! Get shot of the wheels and i think it looks great Quote
John tarantula Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 never really understood why people do this??? why not just sell it and save for the real thing?? looks completely undriveable anyway... Quote
UNABASHED Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 i dont think this fits into the usual copy category, unless i have missed something and there is already a panamera roadster out there that looks like this? This is more of a twist on an original desgin, not trying to be like anything else as such. I'd never do it myself and also think its a ridiculous waste of m oney - but if you;ve got the money to do it why not have fun and see what you can create? Quote

I think even porsche know its the panamera is ugly. I take it you get that little mag that porsche send out? Have you noticed they never fully show you the car, just a tail light here and a wheel there? Quote

rodgeevans Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 and why stick a porsche badge on it though it never is or will be a porsche Quote
deank93 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 40k for the body kit. WHAT? I'd give him 40k to destroy the molds. Quote
AMT Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 That is just crap Why the hell would you want that... and I hate the way the bodykit goes over the wheels... I HATE that look, terrible. Looks like its one of those pimped up bouncing cars. Bleh...scrapyard. Quote
