Standard 8

Morris Minor Split screen

Hillman Minx Series 3

Austin A35

Peugeot 304

Hillman Hunter Super Automatic

With the exception of the last one (and for the fun factor the CV), what a sad list.

Ok :boxing:

It is a rip off of my last 5 cars post especially as on my last post in First 5 cars I suggested a first 5 cars list. :p

( With nothing over £100 allowed  )

Anyway as you got here first as I was too busy here's mine. From 1979 onwards.

Ford Anglia 1200 super

Mini 850

Morris Marina

Morris Minor

Triumph 1300 TC

Triumph Toledo

Ford Capri

Triumph Dolomite

Chrysler Sunbeam

Vauxhall Cavaliar MK1

Anglia cost £50

Think the most expensive was around £350

With this lot you definitely needed a Haynes manual and soon got used to taking out engines on the street, and having gearboxes sitting on your chest while lying on your back in the gutter under the car which was propped up on blocks of wood and tyres. ;)

P.S In those days a Haynes manual actually told you how to take the car apart and fix it. ( before avoiding litigation was the primary concern of the publishers )

I've a feeling many of us have owned quite similar cars in the past - heres my list -

Mazda 323F GT

Golf GTI Mk 3 (company car)

Primera GT (company car)

Mitsubishi FTO GR

Mazda MX5 1.8RS (JDM)

Ford Racing Puma

Ford Cougar

Mitsubishi FTO GPX

Nissan 350Z ST (JDM)

Range Rover Sport

Nissan Murano (still have)

Nissan 350Z SC (still have)

Almost all modded to varying extents - probably spent more on mods than the cost price of the cars in fact.
