  1. I really hope Rooney does go to Chelsea, would really liven up his career playing under Mourinho.
  2. Oh wow, where to start? Again, as I've said elsewhere, a Hunter system is not a guarantee of quality. It's a sign the garage has money and is prepared to spend it, but nothing more. A bloke with a ball of string can be better than an average Joe with a Hunter. You cannot tell if the wheels need balancing without either driving the car or removing the wheels, end of. Getting an alignment that is within the OEM limits means nothing, those limits are huge. You need to specify how you want the car to handle and go from there: If that's outside the OEM limits, that's fine. Big wheels will add weight and reduce ride quality, but that doesn't mean your car shouldn't handle in an acceptable way. I'd go somewhere else and get them to do it properly, there must be a Zed specialist or someone we can recommend near you if you let us know where you're based
  3. Black wheels with shiny lips are ace, I'll have you know. I may or may not own a couple of cars with wheels like that
  4. I used to love them, then I got a go in one. Quiet as anything inside, sluggish gear changes, and unless you're going at warp speed then my 911 actually felt quicker. To say I was gutted was an understatement, definitely a case of never meeting your heroes Okay, it was a tintop so I guess you'd get more noise in the ragtop which solves one problem, but not the others.
  5. Louder? Decat. Nicer? New backbox. Best way? New backbox. Sub-£500 gets you a decent one. Also, you meant to post this in the 350Z section I believe
  6. Hang on a minute, why is the 4x4 guy a hero? He's the one who needs to move lanes, the other bloke is already in the lane, so why should he move over? The 4x4 driver should simply have tucked in behind, not driven like an utter bellend.
  7. 1967 LHD Porsche 911 S Project Complete matching numbers car Yes please!
  8. I loved mine, but then it was on a ragtop and it was the original ESR one too
  9. You don't need Hunter! You need a good alignment, regardless of what they use! Go and see Abbey. No brainer.
  10. Hunter alignment means nothing. It's all about the operator, and a good bloke with some string can be better than an average one with a Hunter machine. I pay anywhere between £50 to £200 for my geo, depending on how far out it's fallen. Go somewhere decent, there must be a place somewhere near you that people can recommend, whereabouts are you again?
  11. Legend! Exactly what I was after, down to the last. The prize is yours, sir! PM on its way.
  12. Although it's not from a proper shop, so no returns.
  13. I'm keeping my eye on that, suspect it'll go for around £280 - £300
  14. I'd rather pay sweeties for someone else to do it
  15. Ones with the HR engine, the 313 ps/309bhp cars.
  16. I can, but I don't want to spend another £70 for something I'm just going to erase on the first day.
  17. Gearbox whine, I reckon. Fairly normal, seems to be more obvious on the HR cars though.
  18. That's the closest I've found so far too, but like you say it has an OS. There's a reseller on there that sells without, but they're in Germany. I've spent over an hour looking all over the interweb, it's doing my nut in
  19. Yup, genuine no-strings-attached offer of a massive surprise bag of awesome sweeties (exact options are changeable based on the winner's taste) to the person who can find me the cheapest AND based in UK supplier of the following: Asus EeeBox EB1503 4GB RAM 1.8Ghz min CPU No OS I can find millions of places that are either foreign or come with an OS, but not the exact spec above and in the UK. I'm not buying foreign as I want the DSR protection, although whatever happens it's going on a cc. Go go go!
  20. I'm clearly being too nice. I'll have to remedy that I think.
  21. Get some instruction. Proper performance instruction, preferably on an airfield or track so you can really push it. Next, get a decent geo setup. Not just the wheels pointing straight, but go somewhere who can tailor your car to do what you want it to. Then get some better boots. MPSS, will make a massive difference again. Also get some Rays on, £500 and you will notice the difference. If, after all that you still aren't enjoying the car, then it's probably not the right car for you.
