  1. Didn't say the colour, just that it was a lot more difficult to work on than mine
  2. Hi all, A couple of weeks mine broke down on the M20, it had overheated and I needed a new radiator fan motor which I sourced from Clark Motorsport Anyway, the car got trailered back to Nissan where they kept it until the part had arrived and been fitted. The first thing they said when the car arrived was 'you're not the one who ones the Z with the supercharger are you?', so I wondered if it was anyone on here? Jez
  3. Ordered from Clark Motorsport, thanks once again
  4. Hi all, My car overheated this morning and leaked coolant everywhere, current investigations show that the radiator motor fan has failed, so I desperately need a new one together with a new reservoir bottle. The part number for the radiator motor fan is 21487-CD000. If anyone can supply one new ASAP please let me know! Many thanks Jez
  5. Hi all, Got a problem that's been nagging me for a bit and want to get it sorted. Car is fine up to around 70mph, once I go beyond that there's a feeling of something rumbling on the driver's side, not a rattle but something tyre-related, which goes like this... RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...(STOPS)...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...(STOPS)...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...RUMBLE...(STOPS) It's not a stone in the tyre and the car feels planted as it should to the road. Now I got the geometry checked out last year and put back within limits (as I'd upgraded to 19's), but they didn't balance the wheels as they didn't believe they needed balancing, how you can tell this without actually testing them I have no idea. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Thanks Jez
  6. Hi all, After six months of driving a £200 Peugeot 206 (meant for the winter we never had!), I've just paid out this afternoon for 12 months fresh tax and insurance starting 1st April woooooo hooooo!!! Cannot wait to get her back on the road, she's been SORN since September and all I've been able to do is wash her once a week. The Peugeot has been great from an economy point of view, but realised last week that it's been economy at the expense of everything else, one of the engine mounts has gone, the exhaust is blowing and the parcel shelf rattles above 50mph Since she's been sat around, I've replaced the dodgy cone filter with the factory box (and new panel filter), new Milltek exhaust, eventually managed to get hold of a set of facelift headlights which have been fitted (taking the bumper off is scary stuff), and replaced the smoked amber side reflectors with some proper orange ones (I've got some clear ones but prefer the orange, strange eh?) And to top it all off, I've bought a Flex rotary polisher and have booked Ed at Divine Detail to spend the day detailing the car at the end of next month. Soooooo excited, can't wait Jez
  7. I'd be interested in a group buy if a 350Z option is available Jez
  8. You forgot add its one of those rare Nissians you don't see very often :laugh
  9. That will be expensive I'm afraid, I know from experience. Mine had two hairline fractures in it, you can source a brand new one from ZMANALEX, but it involves dropping the rear diff out and a lot of suspension work so a garage might be your best bet.
  10. I couldn't find a poll for the above so I thought I'd put one together Jez
  11. Hi all, My car has been in storage for the winter months since September last year and plan on bringing her back out for the start of April. Question is, I had a P3 service done late August, do I need another before it comes back out, change the oil, spark plugs, etc, or will it be fine? More than happy to pay for a P1 if you guys think it'd be a good idea. Thanks Jez

    Redex ??

I'm fairly certain super unleaded contains all the necessary additives, I think redex has always been termed as snake-oil by those in the know, I'm sure someone more technical on here will substantiate that.
  13. No, I haven't take my bumper off yet, I'm too afraid!
  14. I'm not wrong, yay That's what I found, which made me think I have to remove the front bumper, that pic makes it a lot easier to visualise.
