  1. Early here, my moaning knows no time limits!
  2. Noooo, I get the point of a welcome post saying how happy they are with their new car, and a description of it. I totally get that. I did that here, deffo. It's the dull pic of a stock car thing to other owners I don't get.
  3. I dun geddit. Why do people, after purchasing a new car that isn't modified in any way from how it left the factory, come to an owner's club forum and then post pics of it? Now, I appreciate it's new to them and they want to look at it lots, and I get why people post pics of other marques on a one-marque club (like matey did the other day on here with his Mustang) as it's different to everything else on there, but otherwise it's just completely pointless. Do they think that people are going to go "Oh wow, a completely OEM car in Resale Grey! How incredibly novel! Looks amazing!"? Really, we're all just sitting there casting a critical eye of the quality of the photograph, the locale or the cleanliness of the car rather than the actual car itself. Mainly because we've seen it a million times before. I really don't get that. Not aimed at anyone on here, it was someone on the Porker forum who put up a shot of their car which was an early 997, in silver, with the default wheels, on their driveway. Now clearly I like 911s, but this could not have looked any more bland if it had been an Audi A4 TDi in aforementioned grey. There followed a few polite posts of "Terrific", "Lovely", "Beautiful", but I can't help but feel these people were just being nice for the sake of it: Certainly a flat photo of a silver 997.1 is not terrific, lovely, nor beautiful. So why? Pretty sure I didn't do it with my Zed on here (and if I'm wrong and someone is sad enough to search back through my posts, I shall take my mocking chastisement like a man!), and I just can't fathom it.
  4. The Bose are excellent, I borrowed a mate's pair for my trip to Rome and it made all the difference on the flight. I didn't have any music running through them, just the noise cancelling ability made it so much more enjoyable. As for buying, I'd just find the cheapest reputable place on the interweb and buy them from there, on a credit card.
  5. You have done 2 and 3. You said they should be means tested, and you don't want people who fail that to have benefits or the car. Please don't try and gain sympathy now by twisting what you've written. We have take the time to read the thread, and somewhere amongst your ramblings we have a rough idea of where you stand, thanks.
  6. And what happened when you filmed this on your mobile and reported him?
  7. Really, we should be offing people when they hit 65, not giving them a bus pass. Save a fortune!
  8. Which is ironic, coming from someone who works for the NHS for two days a week, who must see the benefit to the disabled these things bring.
  9. Lol me and Stu clearly on the same wavelength!
  10. Well, you did, because you said they should have a great big sticker on the side of their cars. Okay, reason me this: What difference is there between the state giving someone a car costing £200 a month, and the state giving them £200 a month to spend on a car that they can top up? How does one cost you more than the other? Not all disabled people are the same, and giving them a choice is a good thing.
  11. So basically, you're saying that if you're disabled then tough luck, you deserve to be singled out as a cripple forever? Dude, I'm as hard-nosed as they come, but even I find that a bit cold. I would rather my tax money go to getting disabled people cars than to anyone who chooses to breed. That's a much bigger waste of money, as they have a choice: I'm pretty sure that the disabled do not.
  12. I agree with Ddcboyle. Give them a certain amount, if they want to top it up then go ahead. If I was crippled suddenly I'd like the choice to drive something fun rather than a generic flid wagon, thank you very much.
  13. I've got two on mine. NNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWMMMMMMMM Yeah, that quick.
  14. Best not go near The Onion then
  15. Not true. Ive told my insurers Adrian flux about both my in car tracker and camera set-up and they note I have it, but that it makes no change at all to my policy. I think what he meant was if you decided to give it a bit of welly somewhere then there's proof of you being naughty, should the police stop you.
  16. That's the risk you take with cameras. They can both help and hinder you. Personally whilst I think it's an important thing to bring to people's attention, I can't help but feel that there is nothing that can be done about it really.
  17. It's a mess. It's almost like the Nismo designers watched the original F&F film and though, "Yeah, that'll do!". It's ugly, awkward, pointy, and it sets the design of the 370Z (which has grown on me, I'll admit) back about 4 years.
  18. Yes, the White is rubbish and the Black is brilliant Seriously, if you want the exact differences look at the chart on the GoPro website. The White is the uber-basic version, though.
  19. Ekona

    wanted!!!

Also, you may want to change the title of your thread: It's a safe assumption that something is wanted if you're posting in the Wanted section.
  20. I really hope you're joking. If not, that's probably the dumbest post I've read on here for a while.
  21. Why on earth Rockstar are not being pilloried for releasing GTAV without the online element, I've no idea. If this was EA or Activision then people would be all over them like a case of herpes. Seriously, they've had all this time, so why does it take another two weeks to get the online stuff up and ready? Why is it not ready for launch?
