  1. I'm sure half of you guys in here need glasses. Or stronger ones, if already bespectacled. Or maybe you're colourblind. Or Stevie Wonder in disguise.
  2. Sweet jesus it's even worse in the daylight *grabs fork* *stabs eyes*
  3. That's a good point really: Anyone who speeds or otherwise breaks the laws of the road really can't complain much about cyclists not obeying the law if they don't bother to do so themselves.
  4. You shouldn't be giving cyclists only 4 inches of space, that's crazy. If they catch a wheel on a poor bit of road, or a sudden gust of wind (like that created by vehicles) gives them a wobble-on, then there's every chance they could fall into your car and they could get seriously hurt. I always give them two foot minimum, both for their benefit and mine.
  5. How so? Not everyone who owns a house cycles.
  6. The rest of us will have had it for two days by then
  7. Blame the general public for that one. Anyone with half a brain can work out that a car that emits 100 carbons per mile and does 10k miles a year is more polluting than a car that emits 200 carbons but does 3k a year, but that's not good enough for the masses. They want to see anyone with anything better than they've got punished, despite the fact that we're already getting punished when we fill up (not a complaint, it's our choice and we know this) as our cars use more fuel to go faster. These masses wouldn't stand for a fairer system, and any government who tried it would find themselves out on their ears very quickly: Just witness how unpopular the coalition is, despite the fact that the opposition contributed massively towards the current mess and would have had to do pretty much the same things themselves had they won the last election. People are idiots, and short-sighted idiots at that. Anyway, rant over, off you go folks.
  8. Brilliant. I love it when the OP deletes everything. Makes the forum such a wonderful place to be.
  9. Yeah, I wasn't going to go that cheap! If anybody else wants it for, say, £25, just give me a shout. Only used twice!
  10. I'm assuming Skyrim has been done? Saints Row 3 is free on PS+ right now, might be worth grabbing that along with whatever else is on there right now. If you haven't got TLOU then I can sell you my barely-touched copy for cheaps if you like.
  11. I don't mind cyclists not paying VED/emissions tax/road tax/whatever you want to call it. They do pretty much nothing in terms of damage to the roads anyway, and clearly no environmental impact aside from sweaty people in offices at 9am. What I do object to is that they don't have to have insurance. That seems wrong to me, when every other road user without exception (I think) has to have this by law. I don't think it needs to be hundreds of pounds, but there should be something.
  12. And yet you still come home alone
  13. I really hope Rooney does go to Chelsea, would really liven up his career playing under Mourinho.
  14. Oh wow, where to start? Again, as I've said elsewhere, a Hunter system is not a guarantee of quality. It's a sign the garage has money and is prepared to spend it, but nothing more. A bloke with a ball of string can be better than an average Joe with a Hunter. You cannot tell if the wheels need balancing without either driving the car or removing the wheels, end of. Getting an alignment that is within the OEM limits means nothing, those limits are huge. You need to specify how you want the car to handle and go from there: If that's outside the OEM limits, that's fine. Big wheels will add weight and reduce ride quality, but that doesn't mean your car shouldn't handle in an acceptable way. I'd go somewhere else and get them to do it properly, there must be a Zed specialist or someone we can recommend near you if you let us know where you're based
  15. Black wheels with shiny lips are ace, I'll have you know. I may or may not own a couple of cars with wheels like that
  16. I used to love them, then I got a go in one. Quiet as anything inside, sluggish gear changes, and unless you're going at warp speed then my 911 actually felt quicker. To say I was gutted was an understatement, definitely a case of never meeting your heroes Okay, it was a tintop so I guess you'd get more noise in the ragtop which solves one problem, but not the others.
