  1. Pictures should all be showing now. Any questions just ask. If you need a replacement bumper, then just a bit of work and this could be good Not expensive at all.
  2. Thanks for letting me know. I'll see if I can get the pictures to work. I couldn't sign up for Photobucket, it wouldn't let me, so I couldn't use that. I tried Imgur. I'll revisit it Will
  3. Original 350z Rear Bumper For Sale. Blade Silver. Will need respray and finishing work. Only asking £40, collected Has some surface scratching and marks from removal and storage. BUT also has a small parking ding on the right hand side as you look at it. This would benefit from some repair attention. It isn't cracked but there is a small ridge in the plastic. AND The small slot for housing the rear fog/reversing light has some damage too. The bracket on one side for securing the light has broken off and is missing. Some sort of replacement will need to be fitted. I've put photos of the other side first, the good side, so you can see what it should look like, then the broken side where it's missing I hope I've shown it all. Apart from that it is in good condition, nice and clean. Comes with the polystyrene piece from behind. Collection only - I'm just off Junction 15 of the M4 near Swindon. Any questions please ask

Don't even think about selling yet Toad - not that this ad will get you anywhere LOL! We're going on that drive out ASAP!
  5. Were you offering me a second hand one Mark? My car was just in your garage for it's annual service which is when the problem showed up, and Scott never offered me one then! I didn't want to shell out for a brand new one
  6. Hi, Have you stil got the OEM cats? I need a bank 2 cat if you'll split them. Could potentially collect.
  7. Hi Alfie, Will you split the Brembos? I only need the front passenger side one.
  8. I love giving a good wave and a flash of the lights to a fellow Z and even if I don't get one back I hope that driver has gone on to start doing it in the future. I've even been waved at by other performance car nuts in Scoobyrus and Ford Focus RSs. The Z clearly has crossover appeal, you've just gotta love it.
  9. Not had compression test yet. I know what it is but I don't know what it tells me? If my engine is using a lot of oil what are the possible causes? And does anyone do an engine swap type service - you know, I give you my old one and some cash and you give me a nicely sorted one in return, then go away and fix mine and someone else swaps their troubled engine for that etc etc. Maybe I should learn mechanics and start doing that myself….
  10. My engine's done 74k. Only prob with a second hand engine is I might be buying even more trouble. Quote for a rebuild is circa £5k which is way more than economical - and apart for the oil usage, the car runs okay.
  11. Hi All, My 2004 Z is using a fair bit of oil and Scott at Abbey reckons it needs an engine rebuild to solve the problem - trouble is I can't afford to pay him to do it +VAT and I haven't got the skills/facilites myself. Is there anyone out there who can recommend someone, or advise me what to do next? Grateful for any help.
  12. I think this tyre may be finished, has anyone heard the same? I've run a set all round for over a year and found them to be excellent, good ride, handling and grip. Still get a slide, esp. in the wet, if you're enthusiastic and they take a few corners to properly warm up first thing in the morning. Got a new set on the back just before Christmas - went to get the same on the fronts in New Year and was told by my regular tyre boys they were discontinued. Tried many other tyre fitters and suppliers near me and got the same response. One company then said they'd found the last 225/45/18s in the whole country in Scotland - got them sent down and they're now on my car. Shame if it's true they're not doing them anymore though, as I reckon the ZZ3 is a great tyre for the money. Glad I got a matching set all round though. Will consider the Michelin Pilots next time I think.
  13. Welcome and congratulations - you won't be disappointed, it's a fantastic car. Wish I'd had one when I was 21. Great advice from NeilMH. Use the forum search well and you'll find all the info you need. Zmanalex is a good source too. And until you've got the hang of it, don't turn off the traction control for a while, esp in the wet!
  14. I'm after a second hand set of Rays so if yours are brand new they might be out of my price range. I'll PM you.
  15. Steve, Fantastic guide, I did the job yesterday and could NOT have done it without your help. Amazing! Big thanks. My tank was saying empty but when I opened up there was loads of fuel and now I've cleaned both senders it's saying just over a quarter of a tank. I may yet need a new sender on the fuel pump (drivers side) as the resistance on that was less linear than the passenger side. No fear in tackling that job now though. Just one thing - It was all too easy to drop the 6 little screws holding the tank cap on. Especially on the drivers side where it's under a bit of spring pressure from the fuel pump. I lost one and had to appeal for a spare on the forum today as it disappeared into the belly of the car somewhere and didn't drop out. Be warned all you butterfingers! Thanks to ZmanAlex for coming to my rescue - and for supplying the new O-rings for the job in the first place.
