  1. Yeah, probably pulled it because it looked so dirty :P:lol:
  2. Hi Mate, I was driving a saab today, a spanking-new 2.0 petrol turbo. I hope yours was better than that as the gears and suspension were terrible. I wasn't very impressed after driving my Z, but then i haven't really liked anything much after getting used to my Z The normally aspirated V6 on a Z is not under any real strain and shoudl be good for far more than 100K, in fact i see no reason why it shouldn't go much higher. I`ve had V6 cars that go up the 1/4 million miles which is why I always like a V6 (that and the great torque curve). Prices are cheap because it is a big engine and petrol and road tax aren't as cheap as they were. I get 30mph from mine, although I do quite a few motorway miles. I do have a bit or a lead foot but it seems to forgive me As with all cars, FSH and be aware of the common faults for the model, although for an 04 they will most likely have already been fixed under warranty.
  3. Saw you on the side of the road, pulled over by a traffic car with the flashing lights, on the A1/M1 link road near Leeds about 4.00pm Monday. I hope you had a puncture rather than had been pulled for being bad
  4. Does the Y rattle against the protection plate? does it touch at all? If it is easy to fit and doesn't annoy me with rattly noises then it is a +1 for me.
  5. The rant is perfectly understandable and acceptable The bit about own brand is interesting... I have noticed own brand bran flakes are like cardboard crisps so maybe they are trying to put me off buying them
  6. I'd love one. I keep getting nasty scrapes from under the car and the braiding is getting worn away. Mine is a good 15mm higher than yours ,too!
  7. That is disgusting and the meat isn't even cooked! :scare: That is the surest way to get a runny bottom
  8. Passing on day pass tube-tickets I`ve finished with at lunchtime when visiting London. People in the queues for the machines look shocked (possibly because a 6'2 male lumbers up to them grunting) but soon start to smile
  9. Please lock this thread I keep seeing it pop up and thinking Ian is selling
  10. Amusing ads that give those chavved up cars a good kicking
  11. Oh great. The top formula motor racing events of the year - F1 Prius.
  12. Blimey Clarkie, how do you keep is so shiny and clean? Mine looks like it has been permanently powder coated with filth
  13. Rapper??? I lov dat @*!# but i aint from da hood.... Its a mixed (NHS/PRV) practice and I am the lead dentist there... which means i could do something for you... Actually I have very good teeth - just on principle I begrudge paying my denplan direct debit! Although I do have some dodgy wisdom teeth........ Whereabouts in Hull are you - I grew up there so can tell if you're from the 'hood' or not! The practice is on Beverley rd (no 29) near Hull daily mail 5 min up the street from st Steven's.... and we see denplan pts as well.... and we love pts with nice teeth....although i v got enough female pts....i am pretty sure that some of them are coming to me just for my looks... I live on Vicky dock by the river and i am Greek...been in england 3 years now but i grew up by the sea so i need to be next to the water! So i guess i am only a brother from another mother..... That was my dentist for many years. I joined when Simon started and I still go to see Simon now he has left and gone to Hessle. Small world Victoria Dock eh? That's a bit posh
  14. Dullsville for me, Senior Project manager for a medium -sized technical company. Mainly serving local authorities and the odd government department, but also pensions, car parking (!), housing associations etc My only hope is that one day I can get seconded to the NZ, AUS or Singapore branches for a change. Our company runs the Singapore Library Service. Doesn't sound fascinating but I'd like to go out there and see for myself
  15. It doesn't increase the flow, it evens the flow out. You get the same total air going through, just more equitably delivered.
  16. Yes, they are out of their minds! You first reported the problem in December, within the 3 months they think is the limit. That it took so long to find the problem shouldn't be relevant to you as the problem was there from the start and did not develop over time. Sales pay and then argue the toss with servicing without involving you. I would recommend you write straight to the manager of the branch and say you are not interested in watching them air their dirty washing, not to charge you and to sort it out within themselves.
  17. There is something wrong there. MPS are well know to be a brand that lasts for high mileage. Unless the Z has a particular fancy for mincing them, or you do a lot of wheel-spins, you must have a geometry problem My Contisports have done about 30K on the rear. Mostly motorway miles though and are probably at about 3mm now. The Toyos on the front have done more
  18. A few more here http://www.fleggaard.dk/movie.aspx
  19. Oh dear Lexx, I thought you might be giving Envy or Revolution a try as they are both in Newcastle and not too far away for you. You shoudl also be able to just wait for a P1 service as it doesn't take long - it is only dealers who want your car for a week. I hate to worry you but do you know how the monkeys at dealers react when a good car comes in? They fight for a test drive and then rag the @rse off your car, and don't think they don't because I know people in the trade who tell me horror stories. Fletch, you have a queue of trade coming your way!
  20. Hurray! The 6 Nations Rugby has just started. I`m not bothered about the footy but I love my Rugby (proper Rugby of course, not that tap and pass League stuff ) That's my weekends sorted for a while
  21. No, we think all the posted good looking women are lesbians too. Erm, or is that just me having a porno dream
