  1. Try this... http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/IPod_wit ... und_System
  2. Nice to put faces to names at ESR today, lots of the usual white 350s (nice wheels Lexx, nice pipes Ho!). Then Mark's car arrived from it's final fettling and very impressive it is too He seems very happy, although perhaps considerably poorer I even managed to get some Eibach spacers fitted for myself. I've sussed Phils technique now - don't try to sell the customer anything and the reverse psychology makes you buy something! Oh yes, and I also saw the final drive-away of Phils old Z.
  3. I meant Mark But will be good to see your new exhaust too
  4. Yeah, I`m keen to take a look (and also see some local Zs). What time are you arriving?
  5. Oh dear, that is a lot of money for not a lot more than a car wash
  6. Nearly always on. My shiny new suspension means that it now very rarely kicks in anyway
  7. Got mine and they are spot on Cheers Chris
  8. He is now a happy member of a mailing list regarding unnatural acts with animals
  9. What time will you be there? I may swing by to see this momentous unveiling! Depends if it clashes with the Rugby
  10. I needed new shocks and have had a KW Variant 1 kit fitted by Phil the other week. I have only had 2 chances to try it out with a passion (been ill )but the difference is very noticeable and the car is much more settled. No more traction control kicking in all the time too (a sign of poor shocks?). It isn't adjustable except for height so is cheaper than the top rated variant 3, but the ride is smooth on the motorway and excellent on the corners. It's a shame it has been so wet I can't try a good roundabout test, although I haven't lost the back end on any roundabout so far which is a change from the old original setup (just wait for the ice you say?!). It's not the cheapest at about £750 but it is a great kit, adjustable height and the ride is great too. I would recommend it based on my short experience of it.
  11. Ditto on the spacers question. What are the advantages? It is impossible to search for spacers on this forum as someone has spammed just about every thread with the word
  12. Chrome Z badges add 3 bhp!! Too right !
  13. I don't bother with the exterior looks - I haven't the cash left. Check the sig! Next up is a lightened flywheel
  14. Ditto! BTW, I haven't received any form or whatnot. Will you be messaging me? If so, a total paypal amount would be handy. Cheers Chris
  15. Like that window line. Very nice. Interior looks identical to 350Z. I agree with keeping a simple dash but they haven't made a huge effort there...
  16. Check that one of the lambdas on the cats are not unplugged or the wiring damaged. Check you don't have any exhaust leaks too - it it could be a faulty lambda of course.
  17. Eh?? Oh, yeah, you are in little Newcastle, I thought I was missing something for a moment
  18. Bit early for a MOT isn't it? I thought you didn't need one for the first 3 years ?
  19. I voted for 2 days as a better social occasion, but my track record is poor so I should only guarantee attendance at one day
  20. I agree with Cara, does anyone fall for these any more? Real banks don't make bad spelling and grammar mistakes either, never mind the stinkingly obvious url. On the spam subject, anyone had the random telephone spam going round? "*PAAARRP* Ahoy there! Thsi is your Captain speaking!" Apparently I have won a cruise, but myself and the Wife love his cheery *PAAARRP* more!
  21. I now live in a flat in the city centre so no more annoying, abusive, threatening teenagers knocking on the door. When I lived in suburbia I didn't mind so much as between 5 and 7pm the groups of chaperoned pre-teens would come round dressed up and obviuosly having a grand time of it. After 9.00pm the groups of three spotty tw*ts dressed in normal chav clothes would knock... refuse them and your car got a scratch or a mysterious puncture. Nowadays I hollow out some turnips and pop a candle in and its peaceful and fun again. (btw, turnips are so much better than pumpkins, they have hairy bits and wrinkles and shrivel nicely with a tealight in them. They smell good when hot and look quite spooky when the lights are out!)
