  1. Because they are inherently lazy
  2. You must have it now so the time is right to say:
  3. Stanski, was the letter signed by a Nigerian prince with cash-flow problems? "You have a faulty alarm, bring you car to dock 3, merseyside wharf and leave it in container A".
  4. I wish this could happen to all of the destructive little tw@ts around here... http://www.kontraband.com/videos/12270/ ... enge/#show

I don't know if it damages the alloy but it certainly won't do the lacquer any good. Not sure how he can fob you off - a refurb is a refurb, not a clean. If the result is not acceptable then they have to sort it out! Letter to the boss id ok but a face-to-face chat might be quicker
  6. Yes, I`d have one of those. I currently use a 50p lick and stick and it never falls off (I must have sticky spit), but it is boring and a forum one would be sweet
  7. Laughing so much that one can't help but pass a small amount of urine...
  8. I did ask and its his Dad that made it. He said to make it worth while though he would have to charge about £300 to get the rack, fabricate the bits, powdercoat it. Thats 3x what I paid for it, and for me it would be too much to pay. If you'd be happy to pay that then I can pass on your details and see what he says. Um, in a word... no I don't need a rack that badly yet
  9. Looks very professional. I wonder if he fancies making another
  10. Hi Chris, did you ever post a pic of the bike rack on the car? I need to get a rack myself but an dithering about what to get.
  11. Very good, and I don't even like football!
  12. Once again, the GF Oh well, I`ll meet him again when the Y-pipe and plenum spacer go on, next week Who said fat slow and torqueless anyway? Baz, hes the old chairman, He's had quite a few GT4's most of them the older 185 which are very heavy and he's not light himself Well I`m slim with all my hair so I`m happy
  13. Ah yes, youngters eh, so keen to talk tough I don't want to sound sour because it was a fair fight and he won, but I know which car I`d rather be seen in.

  15. Darn, I knew the GF should have been heaved out He was only running about 300bhp... A least I got a point for the exhaust note
  16. My DTE was practically poking me in the eye! Still only got 74ish liters in though.
  17. Just put £90.01 into the tank It's still worth it though It makes the ESR mods seem almost cheap
  18. Um, white? That is about the extent of it It did have posh wheels though so some money had been spent.
  19. Thanks guys, that helps. Was feeling a bit
  20. Had a nice run around the countryside yesterday and at one point found myself on some empty (!) dual carriageways with a Toyota GT4. So off we went with me in the lead. Now I know he has a turbo and I know I have my GF with me but even so I couldn't shake him. He was foot to the floor and was keeping up, you could see the front end bob with the turbo kicking in, but he had mor puff than I did. When I got to miles an hour he cruised slowly but surely past me. All good natured and thumbs-up smiling but I`m a bit gutted that he nailed me. After all, on paper he has less bhp and torque. The GF sarcastically suggested I boot her out as she was unnecessary ballast - a good idea but it was too late as traffic was appearing ahead and it was time to slow down again Curse this stupid ECU. Time to hand the credit card to Phil again... Can anyone say anything comforting to make me feel happier
  21. It's still there at the moment. Nice front grill, mate
  22. How disappointing. I signed up just to read the fast car 350Z piece and it's not in the mag they sent. Jesus but that Fast Car mag is shite!
  23. Probably best to email him direct... eastshoreracing@btinternet.com
