I think I would want a faster shift than that if possible. There is quite a delay between activation and gear change.

Lakes is good as the countryside is so fab, no speed cameras to talk of and loits of ice cream and tea shops (I like a nice bun and cuppa).

Don't know about with Zs but the old merc ones used to be a good bet. Not too large and easy to manufacture fittings for them.

Yes, yyes! Gutted that work sent me to Plymouth of all places and I had to drop out. Really gutted. I`m in North Wales 21st to 25th June visiting friends - is that too soon?

Evans Halshaw have Zeds they got from buying up stock when the Dixons group went bust. I tried one out once as it was reasonably priced and very low mileage, but the gearbox was alike a stick in a bag of bolts. They said, "I can tell you are mechanically minded, you will recognise the traditional notchy gearbox of the 350Z".
