  1. Forgotten what I have - let's see...
  2. I wouldn't let thsi affect your opinions if Nissans. Generally they are very good and thsi sort of problem could happen with any car - and usually does, much more frequently!
  3. Always courteous, always helpful, the best advice, great mechanics - and fast too - good stock, good service. There is nothing more you could want from a company and it is a sad, sad day that you and the Z community is losing ESR. The best wishes to you all for the future.
  4. Me too, (except mine has been on for about 1 month). It's a nice progressive kit. I have noticed that adding spacers has made the car more twitchy though

    Ouch

Only in America could someone come up with this excuse. +1
  6. My 'half' setting is quite warm but the 'full' setting doesn't get much better. It is like it cuts out as it thinks it is too hot. Is there a safety cut-off in the circuit? Maybe it's faulty (on the safe side) but can be replaced to allow the seat to burn my ass?
  7. Hi Andrew, What a shock and so sorry that you shoudl all have to go through something so dreadful. Best wishes, sincerely meant, for Phil. Phil really has always been more than a trader, he has been a friend to us all. Do keep us informed as much as you are able. Chris
  8. Leeds to Phil takes 1h:40m. Phil will fit whilst you wait and give you coffee and a biccie
  9. I`ve had lots of high mileage V6 engines. A V6 is so much better designed to keep strong for high miles (one of the reasons I buy V6 cars). My old Alfa V6 recently died at just over 250K miles from a cambelt failure, not the actual engine internals. If an Alfa can get to 250K and beyond then a Z can to! Aas has been said, so long as the service history is good and all the consumables have been replaced then don't be put of by high mileage. It is just a way to get a cheaper car.

  11. I drove a Yugo van for work once. They literally gave us two of them ' to get them seen on the street'. Odd little tin boxes, the engines only had three crank bearings which saved money but meant they both blew up just after 40K miles
  12. Yep, that's him And I though brushing the cat once a month was a pain...
  13. What a sad life the contributors to that site lead.
  14. To be honest i think he is suffering the after effects of 2 weeks dealing with M350ZB I know i would
  15. I am gaggingly interested on this. Phil says that they aren't worth the money for the BHP gain (but to be fair, what sub-£6K mods really are for the Z), but it's torque I want, not top speed. My only concern is to keep a smooth running car as well. I will be fascinated to hear what your experiences are!
  16. Yuck, sinuses Please pass on best wishes to get well soon (in a macho way of course)
  17. The Government response to this petition implies that the charges may even be less than they are now, but that a report is being prepared to evaluate this. I support the lifeboats as much as any but would it not be better to wait to find out what the effect will actually be rather than having a petition quoting an emotive figure, supplied by a paper with 'leanings away from the Government (!)'. The problem is that it can so easily be refuted that it defuses the main point - that it should be free. Even so, changing the fee to cover how much you actually use a channel seems bizarre! I still signed, though, as I agree it should be free for such an important charity.
  18. They are a bit American muscle car looking for my taste
  19. You get a pop and burble from a 5zigen Phil will have one in stock, too.
  20. I would have taken pics but I think that is up to Mark. I don't want to steal his thunder after he has spent two weeks building you all up to a frenzy But if he doesn't post pics tomorrow...
