  1. Indicator of Price Adam? - I know you'll ask so - GU24 9XA ACT Heavy Duty Clutch ACT Streelight Flywheel = $1098 shipped And for a NA car (i.e. no heavy duty required)?
  2. Very interesting. What sort of ballpark figure do you think we are talking about here. I fancy some braided lines but if the cost is going to be twice that of a goodrich set them there is no point me wasting the time of your guys.
  3. looking forward to the new year celebrations in China Town. Always good fun here, especially as i can look out of my window and watch the Lion chewing the lettuce from a grandstand seat
  4. You could always PM Fletch as he is the guy that will know that engine inside out (probably literally). he may be able to advise if the belt is likely. I have some cracks in my Aux belt so once Fletch is up and running in his new pad, I'll be on his doorstep with the work to replace mine. But back on topic, get someone to rev the car whilst you listen under the bonnet. You shoudl get an idea of where the problem lies. Oh, and find a better mechanic. You are paying them, so you don't need to take a crap attitude from them.

  6. Almost right on the reset procedure. You don't need to start the engine, just turn the key so the ignition is on (lights on the dash come on).
  7. The other day i dropped a pay-and-display ticket down the back of my speed/rev pod. I normally have the steering wheel adjusted to the top position but I had to lower it to it's lowest to fish the ticket out. During this time I had the ignition key in but not quite on (just enough for the radio). Put the steering wheel back and started the car and the airbag light came on! What's that all about then?? Just from adjusting the steering column down then up my airbag is disabled? I`ve done the airbag reset and everything is now fine again but it does seem a bit odd!
  8. I`ve used Adrian flux many time over the years and have never had a much of a problem with them. They often beat other peoples quotes
  9. Hey Fletch, don't forget to build the price of a new kettle and a biscuit barrel into your costs
  10. Hi Simon You don't need to pull the Bose, just the centre console. It's very easy, allow 60 mins to pull it out and put it back although once you have done it, it only takes about 15 mins! You need a 15cm blade X-head screwdriver, preferably with a magnetic tip. http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/
  11. Fletch worked on my car at ESR with the following work: P1 servicing P3 servicing MOT pre-check Full suspension change (shocks and springs) Steering alignment Full exhaust system Brake disks and pad Various engine work All work was done to an exceptionally high standard and I have been very pleased with the professionalism on each and every job. As I live locally I am happy to offer to have any of the work inspected for quality and I would not hesitate to trust Fletch with working on my car in the future. Chris
  12. Out of interest, why mileage <45K? The V6 is an immensely strong design in principle and the Z engine should run on for ever* You may get a higher mileage 04 cheaper, or an 05/06 for the same price! *well, not quite for ever
  13. +1 Reception no different form the original imo
  14. Take the 10K draft, pay it in, take out the money as cash. Close the account and move!
  15. Hi Andrew, i am trying to buy buy no answer to PM or phone. If you see my pm in your inbox, please take a look - I have money to be parted from
  16. What a good idea I thought my headlight washers were getting a bit intermittent, too
  17. It is advertised for all Nissans so it must be some sort of plug-in. Call a dealer, get the info and let us Know! If you have the BOSE with the useless-from-medieval-times tape deck (except for MartinMac), try the MP3 fix which will cost you about £1 and only takes a few hours to do - although it does mean opening the BOSE and invalidating it's warranty.
  18. So you have an Exedy plate and JWT flywheel then Martin? What pressure plate do you have, is that Exedy too? I`m keen on a lightened flywheel (JWT) but I seem to remember Phil saying it would be ok with a standard clutch and pressure plate. Even so, if the Exedy isn't to noisy and has no drawbacks then it just comes down to price i guess.
  19. I'd definitely be a customer. I`ve got jobs lined up for you already!
