  1. My Leon FR was only 5MPG better than my Zed and that was a 1.8t. When I looked at the milage I was doing in my old Zed, I couldnt justify down sizing for anything less than a boring small oil burner. The amount of money you loose down sizing makes for a hell of a lot of petrol And my old 350z was cheaper to service than the Leon too!
  2. +1 - always get the best lense you can afford in its given bracket (zoom, mid range, prime etc). You will regret it otherwise. Also make sure you plump for IS version too, its a life saver
  3. His email is at the bottom of his reply - the little button saying Email EDIT: Oops appears that as Admin I can always see peoples email addresses
  4. Chaps and chapettes, Having recently recieved my long awaited Garmin Edge 800, I am now looking to sell my Oregon 550t GPS with full UK OS maps. For full specs please see the Garmin site - http://www.garmin.com/products/oregon550t I will also chuck in the bike mount. This is almost brand new, only had it for a few months, just before the Edge 800 was announced, comes complete with everything a new one would, box, instructions, charger, etc. This retails for somewhere in the region of £450-550+ (w/maps), but I am looking for £350 for it. PM me if interested. It will be going on eBay shortly if no interest.
  5. So long as you have the original (hi-res) and email it to Martin
  6. You aren't kidding there. Mine is one click between working and rolling so have to pull it hard and leave it parked in gear just in case. Mentioned it at the service and L&G and he said 'and?'. They had a go at it but it was same situation, just one click lower lol... Sorry but thats shocking! The handbrake can be a PITA to adjust and get right, but if done at every service, its easy enough for them to do. WLMG Slough always managed to keep mine in good working order. Before I took it to them it was always pants, it just took a good mechanic a bit of time to get it adjusted properly. Saying "and" when asking why it isnt very good is plain shocking, especially from such a supposidly good garage.
  7. OK the one exception is the 50mm prime. However it is cheaply made, but as it is a prime, the picture quality is great. But obviously you are limited to one focal length!

Me too! I could also do no handies from about 8 as far as I liked, round corners etc. It was ace! I have something else to do wheelies on now! Yeah these days AK just calls me a chav for doing them. I think its cos he cant do them
  9. And my sisters Quashqai! Yeh and that As per usual the "sports car" doesnt get any high end features.
  10. Knowing Akrapovic it will sound awsome. Their bike exhausts are amoung the best money can buy
  11. I will do some sure. Not many of the wiring as thats Brian's handywork, so you'd have to get the harness from him to do it too. He provides very good instructions when you order And he has indicated he would be open for some kind of GB.
  12. Wanna come and do it if you think its easy? It will be fully integrated with the nav, will have the draw lines on it just the same as the GTR and G37s, and come on when you select reverse

Yeah that is great, I got Find and Home at the same time. Also, Follow Me is available for download in HD for £6! On the Anthillfilms website.
  14. 2 lenses I have that I mainly use which are highly regarded as very good non-L lenses are the 28-135IS, and the newer 70-300IS USM (not the older 75-300IS). Both can be had for reasonable prices and take very good photos. Unfortuantely, SLRs dont have good cheap lenses

I bought a BMX a few years ago for the sole purpose of learning to manual (wheelie) Gave up after about an hour of trying.... An hour is plenty long to learn the basics of a manual - someone was teaching you wrong or you had the wrong technique. You need to put your weight way further back than you think - acutally its not that far back, it just feels it. Rather than pull up to get the wheel off the ground, you kind of move your weight back and get the bike to pivot around your feet. Sounds odd, but thats how it works. When I was 16 I could pedal wheelie literally as far as I liked. Wish I still had that control, can only do about 50m now
  18. Its fairly well proven that dual pipes with a good cross over works best for the 370z, all the best exhausts are running them You should see a good hike in power, the design in very similar to the Stillen in terms of flow

  23. And if it sounds anything like the bikes I'm sure you will be over the moon when you fire it up
