  1. Yeah come on everyone send them back. But wait, he didnt leave an address
  2. Good write up and shows how much better the 370z appreciates mods 2 things to be noted from it - 1. They installed the exhaust first, and as the first "breathing" mod, it has the biggest impact. Its been shown if you install the intakes first you will see ~18WHP which is way more than the 6WHP they saw. As we know you cant simply add up all the individual HP gains to get total HP gain. But on this writeup it makes it look like the exhaust does a lot and the intake not much at all, whereas in reality, they both can add about 20HP in islation and ~30HP when combined. 2. VVEL tuning via UpRev. UpRev have said time and time again that unlocking VVEL can be done, but they dont allow it. The reason is that it is very well controlled out the box and only room for maybe 1-2HP gain by tuning it. However there is a lot of room for someone to truely **** up your car with it, and in their opinion (and quite rightly) they decided that the pros dont outweigh the cons. Cant wait to get my UpRev done, I think maybe I need some high flow cats first though
  3. Its always the first and last 20yrs that are the hardest!
  4. Is it a problem No. I saw on the Beeb this morning that they had closed some road or other in Scotland. Just as the woman reporter was saying how bad it was and that no one could more, a red van went hooning past as if there was no snow anywhere Media over hyping it as always
  5. We have a whole .... wait for it ...... 5mm
  6. You dont need to resize, just upload to Photobucket and copy and paste in the IMG tags (so long as you dont have an upgraded account). Photobucket by defaul limit the file resolution to 1024x1024 which is the limit on this site
  7. Must be t'interweb rumours I've been listening to again then Personally I've never found Scratch-X to be very good compared to "proper" polishes from Megs, but again, I guess as it has no real cut, I've probably been expecting too much of it. I found Poorboys SSR range much better for attacking swirls EDIT: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/sh ... hp?t=45379 From the Megs forum. I consider (possibly incorrectly) that silicone is a filler
  8. Ah that makes a whole lot more sense now. If you are using things which are "clearcoat safe" with all this new fangled diminishing abrasives that break down, then yes PTG isnt really required as you will only be taking off tiny amounts of clearcoat. Also if only ever applying via DA you wont ever get the heat or intensity to do any damage either as you say. So they dont mean that PTG are a waste of time, just they are pointless if you are doing a bit of DIY buffing with a DA. The only bit I dont like about some of those polishes is all the fillers they use. They are great for minimising the look of swirls, but they soon come back when the filler is washed away. As we know the Megs polishes with proper cut and no diminishing properties can do a lot of damage to cars
  9. I love the idea of the logo indicators and sod the cost im gonna do it. Ive spent the last hour on the internet looking for the indicators themselves to no avail so may need some help sourcing them???... PM Dan. Likely source is from the US or just get them from a dealer (hence the high cost!)
  10. Dan (dcash5) did them in his. Looked very neat but cost a small fortune from what I understand
  11. And how we shall point and laugh - POINT AND LAUGH

    Snow Shoes

Out of interest what are some good winter tyres? I could be tempted to fit some to my old Rotas (although gold wheels will look right chav on a 370z in 18" and high profile tyres) or to my OEM Rays.
  13. twang, alloy ruined, biscuit cries Nope, cos he has his AlloyGators
  14. No snow here yet, and it can stay that way if I had my way Will be interesting to see how the '70 handles the snow if/when it does come
  15. could you dirve it?? I would feel like keeping it safe somewhere I dont think the "special" owner would have cared that much for it
  16. but its one of a kind Wonder if its been rallyed
  17. And quite a few journos have done sub-5 0-60 too I did a cheeky 0-60 over my OBDII connection and it gave me 5.7 up a slight hill Make sure you have intake and exhaust mods G Man that will up your HP a bit more too - unlike the 350z which tried to resist mods - the 370z loves them

    Snow Shoes

Wheres that? http://www.rockshore.uk.com/snow-socks- ... -269-p.asp click on application list they have a set to fit that size but not 35's Ahh yes, they have a size bigger, but its roughly 1" too large from what I looked at before. The smaller one is slightly too small too. None in the middle
  19. Pretty sure the stock screen doesnt have VGA in (computer monitor connector). You can get a small box from NavTool, but be warned they aint cheap, and I dont think they offer VGA in either. Far cheaper to get a new 7" touch screen
  20. Where do I pick her up from?

Snow Socks you mean? They dont do them to fit the OEM Rays (rears)
  22. 2 mins? Pffff, mine is done in about 30 sec, if that That's the soloution! Buy a 370 haha That is the solution to any problem with the 350z
  23. Sounds like the IMG tags were wrong if it couldnt determine the size of the file. I think if its too large then it says its too large. Usually its malformed IMG tags that cause the problem if they dont point to an actual image.
