  1. There is info out there about Scratch Shield, but very little stuff recently. In the US, I think Infiniti dropped it off their cars after one model year and I dont think Nissan are using it much over there either, except for the GTR. In this country there are limited cars out there with it on, some Infinitis, GTRs and 370zs (of which only metallics and pearls have it, the solid red doesnt). From what I can gether its a resin in the clearcoat, but doesnt seem to do much. Infiniti in Reading confirmed that they use heat guns to activate it in the country, but couldnt confirm how you are meant to detail it, or what can be done if you need to have touch up work done applying extra clearcoat. I think it doesnt do a lot, but what I have noticed is that the paint seems more resilient to stone chips than the 350z paint.
  2. Nice one Al, well done. Remember to toot if you ever come past Canary Wharf with Mart
  3. Dont know why people to struggle to find a new car after the 350z - its easy - get a 370z
  4. Told you its all about the driver I do wonder why people think the Zed can even take it to a Cayman, the Porker is way better, but it costs a hell of a lot more so should be. Price for price, I'd take the Zed every time, but you have to admit the Porker is better.

From what I understand, because one side is stationary and the other is forced around, it puts forces through the diff it is not designed for. I dont know what it does for sure, but I know it can be very bad for it. Someone like ZMANALEX may be able to shed more light on what it actually does to it. At a guess, if they've knackered the diff, they pay for it to be repaired or a new one
  6. Used a lot on Evo's so should be quite good on a Zed, given both cars are of a similar weight and come with Brembos of similar sizes My mate Ben has run XP8's and XP10's but does mainly track work with his. Both seem to squeal quite a lot, but that could just be down to the use he gives them. Dust wise, he never cleans his rims so couldnt tell you how much they give off
  7. Get it added to the Black Edition list thread - we have quite a few black and quartz 40th Editions
  8. Cosworth always got the thumbs up on the 350z, so see no reason why that wouldnt be the same on the 370z. If you want a proper hike in power, you need some Stillen Gen3's, but thats a really involved install.

Not bad is it It does better than my 350z did, and I reckon its about 70HP up on it
  10. Bump for AK - we want pics of Wales - did you get any?
  11. From the little I have read of it, you need to remove it from your PC (MalwareBytes or MS Malicious Software Removal Tool), flush your DNS cache (tells you where other PCs are in the WWW), and possibly reset the DNS on your router (and change the default password). This seemed quite helpful - http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/s ... fec8&hl=en

Shame it doesnt use ID3 tags in that top view. It can do it as you can see in the second pic. No idea why they show the file name

Yes you can IIRC the option doesnt show up on CP unless you have the stick in there. EDIT: For reference:
  17. It has to display it by law in some countries. It would make logical sense that you could disable it in the software where not required, but I havent heard of a way of doing it yet
  18. On tracks and cyclepaths they are a great idea, but why anyone would take one on the road, I dont know
  19. As above take it easy for 50-100 miles then start to lean on the tyres more throughout the corners building up to 500 miles, then they should be good to go.
  20. Well if you would get yourself a hairdressers car. Plus you are probably on here more than the S2K forums
  21. You can get a module in the States that does this. Dont know if it works with the UK cars, but they do have them. Its just a relay that senses when the sat nav starts and "presses" the button Dont think there is one for the 370z yet though. I dont mind in the 370z as you can use the Enter button on the steering wheel
  22. Very nice, I like that. Agree that you should complain, but not a lot they will do now, maybe a free service or something as a good will jesture?
