  1. Gobsmacked as I drove in to see both - one a 2009 FG59 *** and the other a Nismo with a private plate JU****. On coming back to my shopping trolly the owner of the 2009 was doing his best squeezing a quart into a pint pot with all his purchases and had a nice chat and hopefully see him on here. He got chatting to the lady driver with the Nismo when he arrived. The 2009 wheels are powder coated in anthracite and the owner has sourced one of the reversing rear view mirror cameras, so not afraid of a bit of modding and an exhaust is on the list, although not sure his wife was happy with me telling him about all the things he could spend his money on Hope to see you around on here.
  2. Hey, it is the 3rd Saturday evening in the month when I'm allowed a drink

    Rusty box

Sure that just a heat shield that can be done away with - many have removed them to fit aftermarket exhausts - a search should confirm.
  4. Might blow a (mod) fuse putting all that electric stuff together........ Maybe when I am a little more sober
  5. Worked hard on your post over the last couple of days I see - 25% of your total for the couple of years you have been on here - but good luck with the sale
  6. Your car was keyed and repaired costing you £300 and then done again. Do I take it they have only put their hands up for the second 'offence'? In which case that extra cash your repairer has for you will help offset that first cost, but what troubles me is that he was drunk and keyed twice????? What happens the next time? In which case if you haven't reported the incidents, and outcome, to the police I would be doing so for the record and as advised ^^^ do keep that original written admission of guilt. You can always say that as you have the admission but been recompensed you are not seeking prosecution but this guy could well do it again (if being drunk was the genuine reason) and if not your car some other poor bugger. My guess it was the letting agent that put the pressure on and wife saw the writing on the wall...........
  7. Stunning pics - how did that track experience measure up compared to others you have done?
  8. Chances are if you get a s/h bonnet the same rusting issue will arise. Yes a HR bonnet will fit but will need painting and possibly 'blending' with the wings etc as some ^^^ have said. But as it sounds that mods are not high on your priority list I really feel you going to spend a LOT LOT more moey than having a quality repair done as R35 LEE says. But if it means a little travelling to be done for the right job so be it - one of the downside of living in a beautiful location that is miles from quality sprayshops. Although maybe an ask on here (another thread) as to a good sprayshop near your part of the world might reveal a hidden gem
  9. Thanks for the reports guys - all dealt with, and those who have checked out the spammers also noted
  10. Agreed ^^^ parts are wearing out and when new bits are added any related worn parts not changed are likely to show up more.
  11. I also feel that if the keying has been done because the scumbag thinks no one should park outside where he lives (as opposed to some othe reason - i.e.jealousy) chances are the police wil get more reports and the "no smoke without fire" should help the police to get enough evidence together to do him for criminal damage. If you know the house owner it might be worth mentioning the 'issue' to him as all too often such scumbags will have demonstrated they have little regard for other peoples property.
  12. Given this post, time to move on and thread closed
  13. I seem to recall issues with the air bag lights coming on that was due to luggage etc being squeezed behind the seat backs that disturbed connections/wiring?
  14. Maybe: http://www.350z-uk.c...9558-zippypooz/ ?

  16. Move a shed? - pah....lightweight after the A Team lifted Wasso's V8 + box onto your pick-up
  17. Moved from Regional meets
  18. Mark. When you upreved mine the Stillen that had been fitted for a few thousand miles, but my point above is that I find it disappointing that a Nismo branded 370 is still underpowered compared to 370's fitted with one of the regular aftermarket exhausts. You would have thought Nissan with the Nismo would at least match, if not better, a mildly tuned standard 370 that could outperform a Nismo.....on the bar stools at least
  19. You got Porsche red mist Hugh
  20. She says " top of the range" for £27k, but that only gets the basic 370 (bottom of the range) so an outright lie!
  21. My 2009 370 with the Stillen exhaust and uprev made 309 @ the hubs (and before Cosworth filters were fitted) which as the standard Nismo exhaust is much quieter (noting Sipar's need for some more noise) it is also down on power that is really disappointing for something that should be giving some useful increase in power with the Nismo label over the standard 370 output.
