  1. List of Nissan's overheating causes here:
  2. Might help http://www.350z-uk.c...-press-release/ or do a search under 370 General - several threads on the various models
  3. Its like the noises you hear driving along a closed in country road in any car, that seem to amplify things or even make you hear noises that you normally don't and after a while paranoia can set in that something is wrong, until the road widens out and all is well
  4. Given what you have done and if no water loss - partially blocked rad/collasped pipe/air in the system? If you have found the fans are coming on OK to deal with the temperatures when stationary/slow moving traffic it kinda says the water ain't going round as it should.
  5. Good to hear the sale was quick for you Gareth, albeit like myself I expect you will have regrets for some time to come even though it had to be Locked as requested
  6. First thing to do is check out here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/213-350z-parts-for-sale/ And then you might like to do an intro?
  7. "So everything is more rigid, which could mean vibrations are transferred more easily...?" This ^^^, I would suspect. Someone like Bennett on here would be one who is best likely to advise - http://www.350z-uk.c.../10799-gt4-zed/ .
  8. Although your car was modded by Abbey you might like to see their first post here about what you are now doing: http://www.350z-uk.c...age__hl__airbox
  9. Been bought by another member I see: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99801-bought-a-gt4-today/
  10. What a let down and there's me come on here to see what luverly V8 you might have chosen only to find that not only are you are two cylinders short but the 'V' has gone too. And on top of that bugger,.................................only wish I could make do with your choice of having two seats and such a nice choice ENJOY!
  11. That's twice in this thread you staff have got my handle wrong It's stevod i can't belive you don't know it by now So easy to make spelling mistakes though - damn keyboards
  12. GT4's do not have the 2006 facelift upgrades - the only common item to my recollection was the engine although the GT4 guru on here (Ken) understands that the pistons were different and this may well be the reason we do not hear of excessive oil consumption/engine failures as that which has happened to some of the facelifts (pre HR versions).
  13. OK enough said on this now. Good luck with your search Jay Kay and start a new thread when you have made a purchase
  14. Merged last two posts (in a new thread) with this one.
  15. Ah, so a 370 bought new in 2017 in year two will be £140, providing the price is under £40k. That's going to make all existing ZED owners and particularly those who bought between March 2006 and 2017 feel a bit miffed and makes me wonder if they might be subjected to further tax price hikes Hope I am wrong ' Bet new cars sales will drop off in 2016, particularly for those in the £40k - £45k range while buyers wait to see if the 2017 prices will be 'adjusted' to get under £40k.........
  16. So in 2017 what will 350/370 owners be paying? (Currently 370 coupes are one group lower than 350s) And presumably this will mean all ZEDs will atract th same tax - i.e the pre March 2006 lower rates/post March 2006 higher rates are abolished?
  17. Members have come across the abominable Skoda before at Castle Coombe: http://www.350z-uk.c...ti#entry1472507
  18. Bloody good job those scaffold poles in the impact didn't get launched onto you as well Sad to see one of the GT4's being taken out - really hope your insurance co make sure you are properly compensated.
  19. Yes, only one thread is necessary - your other one is now locked.
