NISSAN-350Z

Hi all, It has been a little while since I was last on this forum in my search for my perfect 350z. The last stage of my search was finding an imported, stunning blue 350z but it needed some gear synchro work (3rd gear). I walked away as it felt it wouldn't have been a good move. After finding this forum and posting my concerns I had some helpful replies and one member posted a link. The link was posted by member 'Rook' I rang the guy in the eBay listing, asked LOADS of questions and went down to Portsmouth (from Durham) and bought it!!! I have had the car for a few months now and can say its amazing, so powerful etc. It came with a full stainless Powerflow exhaust system etc and has been a rock!! Loads of positive comments from other people too when they see it. It also has the same known 'features' Heavy Steering Heavy Clutch Random popping noise (like a light pop) sounds like its coming from clutch but it doesn't affect car one bit, (engine sounds tight) Boot struts need changing Like I said I am chuffed with this car as it will hold its value well and if anything go up in value!! HAPPY DAYS!!!

Hi all I am new to this forum so I hope everyone is very well and I get the potential support required. I have seen the most stunning 2003 350z import in Daytona Blue and it has 100,000 miles on the clock. The body is amazing, like really really good and drives like a dream but it has a problem with crunching in 3rd gear. I do believe it is the third gear synchro. I have had a quote to get it repaired to the tune of £825 all in. which is warrantied for 12 months. the car is being offered at £4350. the question is.............. what do i do???? Do I buy and risk it costing more than the third gear synchro, if they find any more issues??? What should I do??? Many thanks everyone
