  1. You might have luck stating the mileage done with these and mm thickness left.
  2. Took the words right out of my mouth! BBC have finally found a winning formula for 2019.
  3. https://www.gov.uk/tinted-vehicle-window-rules
  4. This week's episode was too funny. I'm enjoying this more and more every week.
  5. Yeah, would suggest everyone double checks they have 2 emails. 1st email was a receipt with the general pass sent once you ordered your tickets. 2nd email was sent a few weeks back with pdf of the club name which you will need to put your car reg on. Looking forward to this!
  6. Oh shoooot! That's just silly from Nissan. I guess you could put a post in the wanted section and the swap shop? I'm sure the guys who have turned their cars into track machines should have some lying around. Though, if you can afford to, maybe ditch the stock setup? I've dismantled mine and put the subwoofer behind my seats to keep my boot space. I know a few guys have done something similar. All the deets are in the build threads.
  7. Welcome welcome! What a lovely looking model. Can't wait to see what you do to it.
  8. Looks like the right connection to me. There is no adapter on the stock setup, it all plugs together. Though looking at the photos I can see they won't fit together. Not sure what's happening there but if you can upload more photos and trace the wiring back to the amp then maybe I could help. Can't lie, I think you're better off without the stock subwoofer but if you've got it then go for it.
  9. Ask to borrow something every day. He'll soon want to stop talking if you're constantly trying to borrow something. Either that or he'll use it as an excuse to come over.
  10. Use a pin to clean the pumps, check the hose pipe along the underside of the bonnet. They usually clog up and stop the windshield washer. If not, or try the usual traders on here.
  11. Don't know how you do it. I hate having to hold up miles of traffic as I cross opposing traffic to avoid smashing my front lip. I'm low but nowhere near as low as you so I really don't know how you do it.
  12. Personally think there will be other cars which will prove better investment than the MK1 Nismo though I'm not savvy on car investments. If you're doing so little mileage and don't need space for kids/business trips then 370z surely.
  13. Do you want a daily or do you want a garage queen? It's as simple as that for me.
  14. Respect you for being upfront and honest, it's more likely going to help than hinder. You'll end up sifting out a few tyre kickers. Like it has been mentioned, it's only been 3 days and the hottest weekend we've had. You've also chosen a weekend of sports and car shows so you won't get attention today but you may get people like me, who saw the car at a car show and started looking not too long after. Make sure you've got plenty of photos and details in the ad and you'll have less enquirers but more of a serious mindset. Just note the 350z and 370z are a very particular taste, especially with the lack of turbos and the road tax rate. Good luck with the sale!
  15. I've had a toy 370z, Nismo keyring, car decals and a 3D plate given to me for my birthday. Could also look into limited edition manuals or guides or things of that ilk. Else try engine block table? Could do a car experience? They do a 350z drift experience near me
  16. I may be taking mine off my 370z in a few weeks. Ping me then if you've had no luck.
  17. Hey hey! Welcome to the club. You'll have to post some photos of your new baby and keep us posted on what you do.
  18. The Z's are so common out in the US and Canada. Must have seen about 207490 gazillion when I was in California.
  19. Buy the cheapest one off fleaBay, Amazooon etc. They won't work unless you're about 1m away from the car so don't get too upset if you're stood next to the car pressing the buttons inside the pouch. It just stops the relay attacks. I'd still use it in conjunction with a steering lock. You can pick them up as freebies usually so wouldn't pay more than 5 quid for one or 8 quid for a pair.
  20. Better off with a stoplock and RFID blocker and keeping the battery connected.
  21. Could also think about getting the car remapped and putting a 95 Ron map on? Not a good idea in the long run but would help when you've got no choice. Always stick to 98 or above where you can. I know it's easier said than done when it's 45 miles to your nearest adequate station.
  22. I'm really enjoying it. It's about time Top Gear had a refresh and got modern. Looking forward to the rest of the season but you are right, there's been a few awkward moments but I'm hoping with a few new ideas they can finish walking in the shadows. I liked hearing Freddie talk about how his cricket career struggled when he bought his Porsche, also glad to see the casual unpolitcal grandad jokes have disappeared.
