  1. See I wanna know how hard adding halos/demon eyes is? Anyone tinkered with the wiring?
  2. Will be bringing with me to Japfest in case anyone is interested
  3. Lola Lo, Panacea, Budda, Neighbourhood. Basically Deansgate Locks and in Deansgate. Names have changed to clubs and bars but they still have the same theme.
  4. This helped me massively. In the end I have found out the following and hopefully it helps others. 1. Reverse light requires 12v. Testing with a 9v battery is useless. 2. Loose connections happen, buy a multimeter/testing screwdriver and use it. I've got it all working albeit just as a fog light and reverse light. Perfect for me.
  5. @14N I guess our hunt begins! I'm happy to DIY my lights, just need a steady hand to spray paint the internals. Fitting halos/demon eyes should be relatively easy. Tried hunting for spare headlights but they are hard to come by.
  6. Did anyone in Birmingham ever get this done for you mate? @Ranj 370z
  7. So I bought a 4th light, used from a 370Z owner and have finally come around to installing it. Decided to be sensible and test the light with a 9v cell. There are 4 wires, black (earth/negative), red (running light/positive), green (brake light/positive), white (reverse light/positive). The running and brake lights both work when connected to the small cell. The reverse light doesn't however. I used a multimeter to test the continuity and struggled but when checking the resistance, I got a reading. I also cut wire further down just to check it wasn't a frayed section of wire. I've decided to go ahead and just put the light in and use it solely as a foglight in the interim. Testing the OEM setup is something I missed when buying the car and before removing the OEM light so clever me has nothing to benchmark my next issue to. When I flick the fog lights on, the 4th light turns on and then turns off! Not sure how or why or what but a little help is needed. My issue now is, what do I check and do next? For the foglight issue and for the reverse light. Few photos below of the light.
  8. Anyone selling anything used? Else I'll be taking @buster up on his idea! I'll be swapping out my Cobra HFC and CBE so a swap may also be on the cards for a whole system.
  9. If there's nothing wrong with the engine, transmission or suspension keep it. Provided the car has been looked agree, nothing stopping you getting every penny's worth out the meat of the car. Aircon, radio and satnav are all easily replaced, just a case of shopping around and finding trustworthy traders to do the work.
  10. See below my 370z black car mats for sale. In very good condition, though there is some wear on the drivers mat. £40 for the set posted. Also happy for you to collect from B66.

I'm happy to do a good price on my Cobra if you're interested?
  12. That was an amazing line up of cars! Really enjoyed the meet and look forward to plenty more this summer. Also massive shout out to everyone who offered a few hints, tips and lessons learned. Guess I'll see y'all at Japfest next?! We'll have to organise a good convoy for that too. Unfortunately no good photos to offer.
  13. It was said that Nissan ditched the steering lock and GPS tracker from 2011 onwards but I'm not 100%. Pretty sure they're no longer Thatcham 1 standard. Sure someone will come along and confirm it.
  14. This still the plan yeah? See you all tomorrow!
  15. 370z with upgraded air intakes, aftermarket exhaust and a remap, usually get 35 on the motorway and 28 in town. Cruise control helps keep MPG down on the motorway but spirited driving will easily take you down to 10mpg. Stock NISMO won't be too different.
  16. Japanese cars are known for noisy clutch release bearings but yeah mine is the same. Quick Google says its a characteristic of the 370Z. Wouldn't worry too much.
  17. I thought the 370Z was fitted with Akebono discs, calipers and pads? I'm not gonna argue £300 vs £3000, that's a different story altogether but Heinz and Tesco both do beans, they both come from the same source. Unless the discs go wrong and I need to pay twice, then it's really not a bad idea to salvage a few quid and put it into something else. Mehhh we've all had brushes with insurance companies, some of us have the inside scoop so start the process a few steps ahead.
  18. Yeah it's that simple for Shell fill up and go. See the video. It's the reward for it that's gone downhill https://youtu.be/6CtYCt9K1c0
  19. So Shell have recently started moving over to a new loyalty program, Shell Go+. I've just visited 10 times topping up at least £10 (more like £20 a time on average) and I've been rewarded £1 back. Thinking it's time to exclusively use Tesco Momentum from here on in, especially with the points of view in this thread. Read up somewhere that ecutek can be mapped for 99 octane fuel and helps draw a little extra power and efficiency. Anyone?
  20. More money != better quality Otherwise nobody would get the cheapest insurance. . . If nobody has noticed any warping then I'm getting these, upgrading my brake lines and spending on the pads instead when the time comes.
  21. Interested to hear how this all works out, tempted by the discs if they're at that price! Spend the savings on the pads and braided lines!
