  3. Blunder. Shouldn't be on here when I've got a beverage in my hand.
  4. Did anyone ever get in touch with you? I'm after a 370z cover too
  5. Saturday and Peacock Farm works for me.
  6. Hey, so I've managed to work it all out with the dealership. He wasn't keen but we've come to a sensible agreement. It took someone else on his side to intervene! He came to an agreement over the phone then when I chased him up over email he went back to arguing. Hopefully it's the last of it but let's see. I'm away for the weekend but provided everything stays settled I've discuss the details on here. It'll obviously come in handy for anyone else who has a similar issue.
  7. To kick start this again, how about The Barn at Coworth Park? Could do a Sunday lunchtime? It'll be the last showing for most of us and I'm keen to find some locals to work with on detailing and mods. 8. Welcome! 4k is fair game, hope you're accounting for the running costs. I'm sure you'll find someone willing to sell a decent car to a quality home, so make sure you read up on the do's and don'ts and let a potential seller know you know your stuff. People are saying with Brexit on the cards that car prices are dropping atm so don't rush into it!
  9. @parello9 where did you get your headlights done?
  10. So I've had some issues with the car and tried talking with the dealer who sold it to me. Long story short he agreed to pay for the work needed over the phone but ended up going back on his word. Garage only has an autotrader profile so only place I can leave a review (no Google etc). Worth my time going to Trading Standards or not? Hasn't been a massive sum of money but its now all about the principle of selling a dodgy expensive car and backtracking on their word. Any advice is appreciated
  11. This is some amazing upholstery! Looks like a great job and it's given the car more character.
  12. I had a 02 sensor code which ended up being a similar problem. Exhaust leak due to a few dodgy gaskets and a HFC flange which needed sanding down. Cobra products aren't always built to last so if you have Cobra HFC or Catback that would be my first point of investigation.
  13. I saw an absolute beauty of a 370z in Pearl White getting off the M40 at Ardley. I wanted to flash and say hi but you were getting off so not so sure you saw me in my 370z. Approx 8pm going Northbound, Friday 5th October.
  14. What's the error code? That's probably the best place to start.
  15. So I found this link on YouTube which is really handy. I get the flashing cruise control lights albeit my console is different (2011 GT model). Now the fun and games of finding what maps there are either by myself or via Horsham! https://youtu.be/KpKc1Vbs0JE
  16. Any other tips here? I've purchased a 370z GT with the usual performance mods with a private plate. I've asked at Horsham and Abbey but they don't notice it but said it could have come under the stock license plate (logbook shows the plate has been with the car for several years) Can't figure out if it has had the UpRev mapping done. Any tips will help.
  17. Quick hijack of the post, I've bought a car but not sure if it has been remapped. Any simple way of knowing? If its EcuTek or UPrev?
  18. Hey hey! Welcome along. It'd be good to meet a fellow Z owner in Berkshire!
  19. Just to add, I'm running a HFC and Cobra cat back exhaust and the quality seems a little substandard on the Cobra exhaust. Flange didn't sit flush so had it smoothed out when the gaskets were replaced with OEM gaskets (aftermarket gaskets are usually poor quality and need replacing fairly frequently). Assume this was the cause of my exhaust leak causing the error code and a dodgy CO2 reading in the exhaust! I had my work done at Horsham and set me back £15 for the gaskets and the usual price for an hours work.

    370z headlights

Hey, yeah still looking and not really had much luck in my search. To be fair it's been on the back burner with a few other things getting in the way.
  21. Speak to the owner and ask them what work they've had done. It's obviously needed TLC and if they have the receipts and service history then you needn't worry. It's only when the paperwork is missing and they say "never been a problem with the car, I've never done any work to it". Could also ask a friend/mechanic to go down or AA and RAC do a 100 point check on the car for approx 40 quid. Make sure you check the rear wheel arches for rust/dirt - good indicator of how much the owner has cared for the car. Just remember all Zs are gonna need that little more work done to them than the usual cars but if it's a bargain and you've got a rainy day pot for the car then it's all good.
