I am afraid shows like wheeler dealers and others have increased the, whats your lowest price, in other words, the low ballers. I sold mine from ebay, all I got on the add from here was people wanting a deal (on the most part) and sold for a fair bit more than the price I asked on here. My advise would be, get a comprehensive add up on ebay, answer any sensible questions and just ignore the rest along with the stupid offers.

Single or dual it all comes down to tubing diameter and not to be caught out as I once was when I had a custom exhaust made, 2 x 2.5" will not flow the same as much as a single 5" for example, you need pye r squared forumla

If there are lets say a handful floating around for sale at list, why would anyway pay a premium?

Its a great car G, no denying it, but it lacks one thing compared to the other two you mention, the word Skyline, the z series just doesnt have the same cult following, all in my opinion of course.

All depends on condition and whats been done, i.e recent clutch etc £6k-£7k for a private sale will get you a decent 350

On a related note - expect to pay about £5k extra for a white one over any other colour regardless of mileage. For some reason the Japanese adore white cars and it shows when you're shopping for them... I believe it has something to do with purity in their culture (more so than here) and is their racing colour of choice, a lot like britsh racing green is to our motor racing heritage.

Never ceases to amaze me that people cant get together a decent advert that does some justification to the price they are asking and car they are selling. Seems a good price though, but a whole lot more I would want to know, make of turbo kit and everything else for that matter (suspension, clutch etc), how long has it been on etc, service history, dyno graph.

Have you contacted any of the Varrstoen traders on here. £500 really isnt going to get you a set of 19's, its not much more than oem rays, why not just get a set of them so you can use the car and sell them on when you find what your looking for.

Can you not just buy one new one, i thought this was one of the benefits of this kind of wheel ownership?

I think when i had mine advertised on ebay, i was getting 500 hits a day. Problem was, seemed to me, the majority just wanted to make silly offers. Sold first time round though

Ironically to the build up to this thread I saw my mate today who has just taken delivery of his british gas blue gt4. Now I dont like Porsches but it really is a very pretty car and by far the best Porsche I have seen in recent years, but, cant help that think with my lowly earnings, £100k+ would buy me a very very nice 2 maybe 3 car garage. Good luck with the M3 buddy, sure you will enjoy it and if it ticks the boxes, who cares what us lot think
