Ok thanks, I've been lookin at others on auto trader and if anything I've priced mine a bit lower than similar cars but still get jokers over in far less than the asking price. I guess that's just the fun of selling a performance car though, plenty of people that don't have the money but wish they did! Hahaha

I may stick it on PH as well and see how I get on. Are "what's it worth" posts allowed on the forum? I had a quick search and didn't come across any, don't want to put my foot in it! Looking at others for sale i think i have priced mine fairly but I could be wildly wrong haha

The centre console on my 350 has been scratched quite badly by the previous owner and I'm looking for a replacement (and some advice on how to get the old one out without damaging any other trim). Its the bit of trim that goes round the gear stick and round the fan/air con controls if that makes any sense. If anyone has this going spare in black please let me know how much you would want. To get temporary cover before I have taken out a full policy that allows you to cancel within 14 days with only a small admin fee, I can't remember which company I used but it cost me a £25 admin fee for 2 weeks cover. A quick read of the T&C's and you should be able to work out what they will charge you.

Can you let me know how you get on, I've just bought my first zed which is due a P3 service soonish. Would be good to find a garage local to me encase i run ito any problems anyway

Well in that case come Monday evening I could well be a zed owner! Does the rust run deep on the arch or is it just a case of a rub down, treat and paint?

Thanks for the welcome and advice so far! I am spending my bank holiday Monday viewing a couple, one has the beginning of some rust which i think will put me off! Is rust a common problem on these? It has a bit along the front of the bonnet and the rear arch. The other one I'm looking at is quite high mileage at 117,000 but does have a full service history, how cautious should I be of high mileage zeds?
