  1. ^^ Exactly, a subject in the scheme of things i know f*ck all about I dont pretend to, my reasons were asked and given in the essence of the debate.
  2. Probably fine on a smooth track buddy, but they didnt fair well with pot holes and bumps. Maybe it was just the ones i owned
  3. But if it costs us £500m to leave in lost trade and taxes, then the NHS is actually worse off. First off yes, but what about long term? There are a whole host of things i dont pretend to understand or have knowledge about on the subject, i doubt anyone on here really knows the true implications, my vote is out and my reasons given whether its right or wrong or anyone agrees or not.
  4. In all fairness, would you actually believe any figures given to you by government? Its good to see someone who is actually researching the facts as best as possible though and admire your enthusiasm, rightly or wrongly it will be a simpler choice for the less educated (me included). I think we did fine before and will do fine again, it would be difficult to predict the possible increase in british business if we cant just source goods from the eu, it may be a welcome boost to british trading/business's. I wonder what the rest of europe think.
  5. The problem is, if you vote out, thats what people will automatically assume, in reality, it probably makes no real difference to me either way, i would just prefer the country run by the government we elect, rather than a bunch of unelected people sat in Brussels making sh*t up on a daily basis which we all have to abide by and can quite easily live without, such as Eu tyre markings.
  6. Sorry buddy, not sure i trust, i had it looked at by someone, without a fair bit more info on who looked at it and how was it tested. There will be/could be a hell of a lot of g's being pulled in the event of a crash.
  7. Think you have answered your own question £6k upwards for a good condition one, i wouldnt get hung on low miles, buy the best car for your budget.
  8. We seemed to do fine before, sure we will be fine without.
  9. Sheet metal, not sure i would trust that in an accident.
  10. You see this is why i didnt want to discuss my "reasons", i didnt mention immigration, yet you automatically assume its to do with immigration. Nhs tourism apparently costs £200 million, it may be a drop in the ocean, but its 200 million i would prefer used on uk residents
  11. Legalise the lot, charge vat and duty, pure product (not cut up with all sorts of sh*t) and cut 90% of crime into the bargain.
  12. I used to have some similar mirrors on an Rx7 and they were next to useless, no matter what i did if you hit any sort of reasonable bump they would always move position and visibility was poor. Just a heads up.
  13. Just to advise and although not bucket seats, the jdm cloth seats sit lower due to no electrics etc May suit the budget more so than buckets and aftermarket rails which in some instances dont allow you to sit lower due to rails and side mounts.
  14. So even if we "leave" the EU we will still be governed by its rules and regs? I can see we might have to with regards to business but not in such areas as fishing quotas, echr, buidling regs (another bug bear by the way) etc
  15. On the most part having to deal with ridiculous EU directives/laws, the eu court of human rights (abu hamza as a case in point) etc, health tourists. Maybe we can get back to gallons too
  16. I am for leaving. I know this is up for deabte but imo put simply, i think the cons out weigh the pros.
  17. The good news is, probably every other car out there will struggle to match "quoted" times, unless your talking launch controlled stuff where its all done for you.
  18. Be the trendsetter buddy, better to be the first than just following the crowd
  19. There is a dude on here who works with fiberglass, but cant remember his name, if it comes to me will get it up here. Personally unless you have numerous offs, it would just be cheaper to buy each time, unless of course you have a very unique difficult to get hold of kit. A mould is never quite right as original, lay up leads to different thickness etc, thats why replicas never fit quite right.
  20. On the most part yes, but not necessarily and not 50% over that time period, so its not the cheap motoring you think it is, its pretty simple, I am sure you get it, but it just blows your main argument out the water. You should have ordered a Porsche Cayman Gt4 for around 70k, you would have made 35k, thats cheap motoring and until you can show me an ev fetching premiums, you seriously need to rethink its the future line
  21. Too many angles, shapes, lines and swages, proper fugly imho.
  22. I would imagine also very costly, i get the cheap to run concept, but to launch £70k at a Tesla and sit back and say, ah but its only costing me x per mile so is cheap is massively ironic. Even the Elon/Tesla fan club president mentions you can buy one three years old for 50% less than purchase cost, another its not actually that cheap to own/run one.
  23. Legalise the lot and eliminate 90% of crime into the bargain as well as being able to make money off it like fags and alcohol.
  24. There was a feature on the gadget show this week about ev's/hybrids, the dude did some calcs and said you would need to run the new Polo GTE for 200k miles before it started saving you money over the ice Polo due to the additional purchase price.
  25. I wouldnt worry then, if your not getting the air in the front it wont make much difference. You have removed the most restrictive part of the exhaust, a silencer or two really wont see much difference to power on a na car.
