  1. Is Nissan motorsports and Nismo not one and the same?
  2. Yeah those boys at Nismo cant have a clue
  3. Westover are pretty good if you ask me, got me a bonnet, 370z repeaters and other parts, all by the end of the week ordered and with a little discount.
  4. Only joking Grahame. Keep me posted Ben, i have done some reading but nothing extensive
  5. I was of the understanding aero comes into effect from 50mph upwards and its not linear, so the load at 100mph is 4 times the load at 50mph, so imo, anything north of 50 and you will see gains. It would be interesting to know if the op had done a 100 would it have actually closed the boot, over to you op, we need an experiment
  6. Wouldnt have thought there were too many stillens in the UK, should be easy to find some info on it, maybe one of the old school crew will remember. Just done a reg check and the one advertised has had a plate change and colour change so could be the one below. I seem to remember one being up for sale on dw just before i bought: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-cars-sale-private-sales/166059-supercharged-350z-back-up-sale.html
  7. Yep incartec have what you need or even ebay They are not expensive
  8. It's less than 10 years, which is possibly why a bit of a pain. I've put him in touch with a friend that hopefully can help out, and will see how it pans out. Its not a pain mate, book in the car, take it there, get it tested, job done, so long as it passes I did quite a few back in the hay day of imports, except then it was an sva, but same process, you just need the coc, try here: http://www.dvlaadvic..._conformity.htm & https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/new-registrations
  9. Bunch of drama queens Get the tips cut off and new welded on for £100 (they may even just be slip ons) wheels will sell for a few quid and buy some rays, back to std for next to nothing
  10. Not really sure what your after, aftermarket, bose or just the iso connector. All wiring accesories can be found at incartec inc the patch lead to use steering wheel controls if that helps.
  11. Yeah he is a member or was
  12. How is the sea shipping working out cost wise?
  13. I will agree to disagree there, all decent ones are mostly advertised and sell for the same sort of money, anything else will be a lottery if you ask me from my brief experience during 3 years of ownership and 2 zeds, the price hasnt really changed much since i was looking for my first one. They can be found cheaper of course and if your in luck the owner may be desperate for some money and you get a bargain, but anything i looked at under £6000 was a dog of some description, poor bodywork/good mechanics or vice versa, i paid just over £5k for my first one but it needed a clutch. Just go in with your eyes open, if it needs pads it may well need discs if they are badly lipped, £500 all round, tyres £500...
  14. You should speak to OllyB mate and offer your advise, his seemed to scrape the inner barrel.
  15. 1) The freedom to go wherever i want whenever i want, this was the single biggest life changer when i passed my test imho, no asking for lifts from the family, no relying on mates, just find enough money for fuel and off you went and more often than note, just for the sake of it 2) Variety & choice, the debates on here with "what do i get with "£x" budget" are brilliant, there are no rights and wrongs, just personal choice for whatever boxes need ticking, be a f****g boring world if we all aspired to own the same car 3) Speed, obviously 4) Personalisation, its a great feeling being able to sit back and think, not one "whatever car" out there looks the same. 5) People, i have met some really decent folk from here, obviously you cant get on with everyone just because they own the same car, but the ones i have met have been legends, i have even met some nice people through random chats out and about.
  16. He couldnt tell you his best offer? Your the buyer buddy, I dont get this, whats the lowest you will take business, make him an offer of what you want to pay, thats kind of how buying and selling works. Personally not seen many gt's for sale that low, check the zeds for sale page on here for price comparisons. I would also say, i wouldnt be making any offers on any car until i was stood right next to it, with the cash in my pocket after being for a test drive.
  17. My suggestion would be to get along to some meets and listen in real time, things can sound very different on youtube etc
  18. Why not just get the correct offset so you dont need spacers?
  19. So with France making threats and Germany "advising" its employees to vote to stay, i am curious to ask, why do they want us to stay?
  20. ^^^ Echo the V3 comments, not that i have had any other experience but its the kit that is on the car i bought and for a plug and play package without upgrading injectors/fuel return etc i dont think you can go wrong for the money to get 400 ish hp
  21. I like the concept, always good to have a bigger marketplace when selling a car. I am not so sure selling blind by description and photos isnt going to open up a world of issues for you though, what happens if the trader receives the car and its not as described in his eyes?

    Photoshop wheels

Nice, just a shame to have the sizes and other stuff engraved in the faces.
