  1. So snow soap stinks like a fallout remover but doesn't really remove fallout? I really disliked it as a snowfoam.
  2. Wow, that's a load of Zed. Everything is done for a buyer. GLWTS
  3. Surprisingly scratch removal effect Looks impressive
  4. Looks like it could just fly off at any moment. FIT.
  5. Having had about 30 attempts at improving on Matterhon on Thursday, I got nowhere However last night I had half a dozen laps and hit 1:40.246 Now for Spa
  6. No it doesn't but it'd be hard to go whiplash for a few extra grand!
  7. along. Keep an eye out for Yorkshire http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/76-yorkshire/ and also North West http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/75-north-west/ meets. We often get over to God's county for a run out.
  8. Racist. Why not an Indian? Lol. North American indigenous people's preferred nomenclature is not something with which I am sufficiently well versed to throw around lightly, so I went with cowboy.
  9. ^^^ a cheery thought ^^^ Car will be tons of fun and if she's off galloping then all the more time to enjoy taking it out for a spin. PS - don't foget to buy a hat, poncho and some little black cigarillos for when you go out on the horse. You've never too old to be a cowboy!
  10. Assuming they were all replaced at the same time previously, which is fairly normal procedure, I s it not reasonable to assume the other would be in a similar state of wear? I'd change them as job lot. Soon.
  11. Just had a chat with the guy and the indie he's found seems really decent. Basically said he could clean the DPF, replace the EGR, do the glow plugs (apparently a PITA on this model) and still not get to the bottom of it and he'd rather not guess and have a dissatisfied customer. Suggested a new fuel filter and running some non-supermarket diesel with a diesel fuel cleaner additive for a full tank, as a cheapo starting point. If it were me I'd be trading it in or getting webuyanycar to rustle up some cash!
  12. I did some googling but didn't find the pug forums to be hugely useful and certainly not as good as this place (obvs!). Thanks!
  13. Thanks for that, not considered that area so worth looking into. I didn't see the scanner, but it was done by an indie garage (so hopefully not a eBay special) presumably generic snap-on. They've suggested a Pug steeler but I was hoping he might avoid the full trousers down and replace every component treatment.
  14. A mate has a dirty diesel Pug 308 1.6 HDI (though his dream car is a Dodge Challenger, so he's not all bad) and recently it went into limp mode coming off a roundabout and chucked a generic "depollution system" dashboard message. Upon plugging in a code reader and getting the codes there was: P1351 (spark plugs) though this presumably is glow plugs on an oil burner P0087 (fuel rail system pressure too low) P0093 (large fuel leak) There's no evidence of a large fuel leak, so I am assuming this is code tied to the fuel rail pressure too low code and the car assumes a sudden drop in pressure must be a fuel leak. As a first, cheap step, I've suggested changing the fuel filter in case it is blocked and impeding fuel flow (causing the drop in pressure), but I'm guessing it could also be the fuel pump in the fuel tank or (assuming they have one) the smaller high pressure pump up in the engine bay for getting diesel fuel up to the required PSI. There's also the DPF and EGR under the banner of "depollution" but no P codes for them. I think the glow plugs are a bit of a red herring as they are only used for ignition I believe, not like the continuous spark on a petrol. All this is guesswork from me, do any of you have any ideas? Particularly pug or diesel owners? I've tried the usual suggestions, don't buy French, don't buy diesel etc Thanks Stu
  15. I tend to use a few more squirts than recommended and it lasts a few days. Tend to refresh weekly when I do my wash.
  16. I wish I'd bought Stanski's when he flogged it.
  17. This should be the link.. https://www.justgiving.com/Kathryn-Ferguson2 Working Donated, great cause.
  18. Way cooler than a euro barge. JDM 'n' that too ㊙️㊗️
  19. Stanski had one I think. They're on my list of candidates along with the Toybaru and XKR. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/83521-pappas-got-a-brand-new-datsun-infiniti-g37s-pic-heavy/
  20. Hubikote Hubi Fresh is THE scent (though I also enjoy Striper too).
  21. Sorry, I'm no use to you there, I've played with a few Linux distros on VMs and Pi but never taken the plunge and lived with one on my main machine. I'm too heavily integrated into OSX/iOS to change now! I think NOOBS comes with Linux Mint Debian, which is supposed to be lightweight, but I must admit I got bored with it after a short while. There was a RISC OS on there too, which was purely a nostalgic gimmick to me, taking me back to my youth on acorns! The newer Pi has beefed up processing doesn't it, so should be a winner anyway.
  22. Any reason for not going for something lighter than Ubuntu? Is it literally down to touchscreen drivers alone?
