  1. Honestly, I try and broaden horizons and get you lot on board the Spunk bandwagon, I bring a new line of Spunk based products for everyone to enjoy and it's all "I don't rate Stu's Spunk" and "I think this Spunk looks dodgy" and "I don't even think it's real Spunk, it's probably something from a Smelly Beaver". Well that's the last time I share my Spunk with you lot, I'll spread it where it's wanted from now on!
  2. I saw some epic stripped out Volvo ice drift cars in Sweden, resplendent with BGWs. FR is the ultimate combo after all! It'd be epic on track days, tearing it up, like the old 850s I loved in BTCC when I were a lad. Even got trick rims bro http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201604032581829?atmobcid=soc4 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201603312489090?atmobcid=soc4
  3. You've not got a rogue small nail or rock in there? I was plagued by a ticking noise and found a monster nail in one of the grooves which somehow hadn't gone through.
  4. Ahhh, I feel like there was going to be something special there
  5. Nice, but it's not quite as professional as my seat with it's "Infinite adjustability" feature
  6. No probs, we all go for different combos. The challenge is turning ones you don't find easy around, so I'll get to grips with RBR and the Focus with a little time. Edit: Forgot about the tag, I'll add it.
  7. I do wonder about the concept of reusing something that's been through such a serious amount of stress, but hey ho, I won't be riding one any time soon!
  8. Firstly, what an interesting combination of tracks and cars you've put together I started with the GTR on Matterhorn, which was tremendous fun, except for the tank slappers in the fast downhill section, which kept catching me out at the limit. There's some painfully slow and tight sections for such a powerful and wide motor, and the management of the mass of the GTR was quite tricky. Next up the Tesla on Spa. Very eerie going round in near total silence but very rewarding to get it just right. The Tesla is a bit slow on the straights and you need to do the tiniest little steering adjustments in the bends to keep it on the tightrope between grip and the grass. It's a very strange car that loves to understeer in and mid corner, then just as you think you're getting away, it oversteers like mad. My favorite combo this one. RBR in the Focus wasn't much fun for me, the understeer on the downhill, heavy braking, sharp bends was appalling. This, though not enjoyable, made it very taxing to get right. I don't know if I'm talking out of school here but the track limits on corners 1 & 2 and the last two are very forgiving. i.e. You can cut the hell out of the first two and go super wide on the last two without the lap being ruled invalid by the computer. Times RBR 1:50.331 (TCS 1, ABS 1.) Spa 2:51.083 (TCS 3, ABS 1.) Matterhorn 1:45.690 (TCS 1, ABS 1.) Completely stock cars, as they come from the dealer. Manual transmission. No oil, no washing! I did about 15 laps of each to gather those times.
  9. Safest place to practice GM if it all goes turbo, now VAG have killed all the polar bears.
  10. Yeah, but he did. His own statements: 5th April - 'To be clear, the prime minister, his wife and their children do not benefit from any offshore funds. 7th April - ‘We owned 5,000 units in Blairmore Investment Trust, which we sold in January 2010. That was worth something like £30,000’ Now some might argue that is not a lie, on semantic grounds, because of the use of the words "do not" rather than "did not". That said, receiving £30,000 in the past yields benefit in the present, so that argument would be fatally flawed. If I gave you £30,000 yesterday, you still benefit from that today. It is a witch hunt but equally the right wing media had a witch hunt because Jeremy Corbyn "snubbed" the rugby World Cup opening ceremony . A consierably more grave and relevant matter for a major political leader.. On a side note, unrelated to the Panama Papers, look at the wording of the phrase "That was worth something like £30,000". If this doesn't say more about his absolute disconect from, and utter contempt for, the people then I don't know what does. A piffling £30,000? Why I usually drop that much on new suits each year or stocking the wine cellar. It's only just £4,000 more than the annual benefit cap a family are expected to live on for 12 months.
  11. ^^^ Yeah, first past the post sucks ^^^ As Dan said, we had the chance to change it, apparently not enough people wanted their votes to count in elections. Change is not good
  12. It certainly did, I couldn't resist a few puns. Not opened my wallet yet though!
  13. Drive as fast (and legally!) as you can from Nissan directly to H-Dev! You're one of the lucky few with a Zed specialist right on your front door.
  14. I was sat in the front room the other day and through the window I saw six men kicking and punching the wife. My neighbour phoned up and asked 'Are you going to help?' I said 'No. Six should be enough."
  15. Never seen this brand until an ad popped up in the paper this morning. Describing itself as a "Car Fashion Wax", which is an unusual collection of words. http://www.carspunk.com/#!carspunk-product-store/c15ir I wondered if these were a new range and if anyone had Spunked up yet? Maybe you've tried glazing Spunk all over your body? http://www.carspunk.com/#!product/prd1/2228138021/body-glaze Or perhaps long for the smell of scented Spunk, sprayed liberally around your Zed? http://www.carspunk.com/#!product/prd1/4497409771/carspunk-scents-%22pina-colada%22 There's also a Spunk fabric cleaner for shifting stubborn stains, though it can leave a sticky residue according to one review. http://www.carspunk.com/#!product/prd1/2468319451/fabric-cleaner Perhaps you've even got together with a mate and had a detailing chat over a freshly brimmed Spunk mug? http://www.carspunk.com/#!product/prd1/4415569441/carspunk-cüppa's Sadly I couldn't see any protective eyewear to stop you getting rogue splatters of Spunk in your eyes whilst having detailing fun. Ridiculous name and juvenile punning aside, anyone tried them? They seem quite well priced.
  16. I hadn't seen this specific thread before, thanks for trying to help, but I have tried battery disconnects, ECU disconnects, pedal dance resets numerous times, hard reset, ECU reflash that really should reset everything and still not perfect yet. Thanks though, appreciate all help and contributions. Reading that last bit of the post bizizl highlighted, the last step is a curious one. "I redid the pedal dance for learning the trottle position. This time I did one thing slightly different though which I suspect was the previous cause of all my problems. After releasing the accelerator pedal when the engine light becomes steady I just flicked the key one more notch to start the engine rather than through force of habit been turing off then on to start the engine." I could easily see myself getting this key bit wrong and turning the key to off, instead of pushing it straight on to start. Good spot
  17. I've got AppRadio and AppRadio live working, but it wasn't worth the effort or expense on cables. The touchscreen on my Pioneer isn't really up to it and the whole experience is super laggy. I found a well placed phone holder hooked up by simple Bluetooth is better. In fairness, it's a couple of years old, so perhaps the newer Pioneet headunits work better. Good luck getting it going, let us know if it's half decent.
  18. Why would anyone go after an elected politician who's repeatedly lied about something and then been exposed as a liar. I think you've misunderstood who the dicks are in that scenario.
  19. That "everyone who makes big bucks has made sacrifices" statement is a bit sweeping, even for you! For every genuine entrepreneur millionaire, there'll be 3 mafia bosses, 4 human traffickers and 5 members of FIFA
  20. It's a shame Dave and Gideon are powerless to do more, if only they were the two most powerful people in the UK government. It's not like over 50% of the companies in this leak reside in British Crown Dependencies. Oh, hang on...
  21. Not there yet, but right direction at least.
  22. I feel like I'm being trolled by Dave and Gideon, Corporation Tax bill arrived today
  23. I find it increasingly hard to tell the difference between "a private matter" and "a conflict of interest" these days
