  1. A mate has a dirty diesel Pug 308 1.6 HDI (though his dream car is a Dodge Challenger, so he's not all bad) and recently it went into limp mode coming off a roundabout and chucked a generic "depollution system" dashboard message. Upon plugging in a code reader and getting the codes there was: P1351 (spark plugs) though this presumably is glow plugs on an oil burner P0087 (fuel rail system pressure too low) P0093 (large fuel leak) There's no evidence of a large fuel leak, so I am assuming this is code tied to the fuel rail pressure too low code and the car assumes a sudden drop in pressure must be a fuel leak. As a first, cheap step, I've suggested changing the fuel filter in case it is blocked and impeding fuel flow (causing the drop in pressure), but I'm guessing it could also be the fuel pump in the fuel tank or (assuming they have one) the smaller high pressure pump up in the engine bay for getting diesel fuel up to the required PSI. There's also the DPF and EGR under the banner of "depollution" but no P codes for them. I think the glow plugs are a bit of a red herring as they are only used for ignition I believe, not like the continuous spark on a petrol. All this is guesswork from me, do any of you have any ideas? Particularly pug or diesel owners? I've tried the usual suggestions, don't buy French, don't buy diesel etc Thanks Stu
  2. I tend to use a few more squirts than recommended and it lasts a few days. Tend to refresh weekly when I do my wash.
  3. Price shipped or collected?
  4. I wish I'd bought Stanski's when he flogged it.
  5. This should be the link.. https://www.justgiving.com/Kathryn-Ferguson2 Working Donated, great cause.
  6. Way cooler than a euro barge. JDM 'n' that too ㊙️㊗️
  7. Stanski had one I think. They're on my list of candidates along with the Toybaru and XKR. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/83521-pappas-got-a-brand-new-datsun-infiniti-g37s-pic-heavy/
  8. Hubikote Hubi Fresh is THE scent (though I also enjoy Striper too).
  9. Sorry, I'm no use to you there, I've played with a few Linux distros on VMs and Pi but never taken the plunge and lived with one on my main machine. I'm too heavily integrated into OSX/iOS to change now! I think NOOBS comes with Linux Mint Debian, which is supposed to be lightweight, but I must admit I got bored with it after a short while. There was a RISC OS on there too, which was purely a nostalgic gimmick to me, taking me back to my youth on acorns! The newer Pi has beefed up processing doesn't it, so should be a winner anyway.
  10. Any reason for not going for something lighter than Ubuntu? Is it literally down to touchscreen drivers alone?
  11. Supercharger looks like so much fun on an MX5, cracking fun car you're building
  12. What about a flat pack garage?
  13. Two cannibals were eating a clown – one said to the other, 'Does he taste funny to you?'
  14. Just giving link only takes me to the generic justgiving web page, not to a specific campaign
  15. Great time , the good thing about Matterhorn is it's actually fun scrabbling over the curbs in mad drift and then tearing down the mountain side! Red Bull Ring - 1:47.839 and I KNOW I'm done with that Focus and it's appalling understeer. I even tried sticking 50kg over the front wheels, it just went slower in a straight line and understeered the same
  16. Classic cover story Glad it's sorted!
  17. Hyperlink here http://gtchannel.com/video/paul-walker-lost-footage
  18. Voted!
  19. ^^^ What Vlad said. ^^^ Same issue happened to me, pooed myself at the time, same solution solved it. These will start to pop up now the weather is warming up. Must admit though I got my tech to change it as I'm a danger to myself and others with a spanner. P.S. - tidied up your 37 posts blaze
  20. If you could rustle up a link, I could manage a like!
  21. Didn't feel it flying throug the air over that huge downhill
  22. I had to upload this for two reasons; one the battered state of the GTR after a few "moments" going at it on Matterhorn and two because at no point on this lap did I feel like the car was under control The circuit is just mad at high speed! Great choice 1:41.507 but there's loads more out there if you have the minerals and a bit of luck!
  23. In for this one, incredible project. I've seen major IT releases with less foresight and planning.
  24. You can switch it off on the 70 though, can't you?
