Looks gorgeous this!

I don't fancy hustling a Z around 3 sisters, it was tight enough in my MX5! Proper workout for you.

I am far from expert, I took my MX5 to someone to take care of it, on the basis that before any underselling is done, it had to be prepped first. Wirebrushed off the surface rust, rust convert anything else, into the cavities etc, then it gets sealed after. You're right to be cautious, I know a garage who see a lot of jap stuff and they have said since a lot of people DIY'd undersealing during the pandemic when they had lots of time and nothing to do, they've seen an uptick in rotten subframes with protection on top. I am assuming that given yours is relatively new, it shouldn't be too bad underneath right now, but I would suggest you get a look under there and then either bone up on the process if you're doing it yourself, or try and find a good provider who talk you through what their process is. You can never be 100% sure, you have to trust your judgement.

The product you use is the tricky part - but wether or not you should protect Japanese cars from UK roads (JDM or otherwise) to me is an absolute no brainer - YES! My 1998 Mk3 Hilux is like new underneath (which is good because every single panel is dented and scratched ) because someone protected it years ago and maintained it.

Such an easy mod for such a clean result!

Whilst you argue with Nissan (and I think your question about how it could possibly be that's it's not required if the part number matches, is a good one) I think you should have a google at pulling the fuse to stop yourself being stuck. If they do eventually fix it, then you can always put it back before you drop her off.

Important insurance information for attendees of meets and anyone intending to organising meets. I was feeling pretty good about acquiring my first ever garage space, until I saw this thread You've got some great spaces there lads!
-
Not that I’m aware of, but it’s a place to look given all the others are done. After that you’re into multimeter and checking for signal.

Relay and fuse were my best guesses, any sign of water, either current or historic, around the BCM?

Not driven Mallory, but it looks more challenging and fun than I expected, how do you rate it for a track day and laps laps laps (rather than sprint)?

Morning. Admins have been on holiday over the BH weekend, apologies for the slow response. You can't see you post, because you can't post for sale adverts yet - the rules on selling can be found at

For anyone wondering about tyre wear, perhaps tempted to book on but worried you'll need to buy two new rears by lunch time? I used less than 1mm on this day out on my Cup 2s.

Almost certainly, had a great time.
