  1. For the diff, doesn't it take a wee while before you can give it hell ?
  2. What's the run-in period going to be like ?
  3. Just re-read the original link, it should be in the kits bud - R&D Factory 6 spark plug grommets. - R&D Factory DIY Alignment tool. - Nissan OEM Valve Cover Gaskets Both (right and left). - NISSAN OEM PCV VALVE O-ring seal. And it mentioned Black RTV Silicone to use, something like this I think: http://www.amazon.co.uk/V-tech-Black-Silicone-Instant-Gasket/dp/B00442NWOQ
  4. Paid up now Adrian (a friend following me on Sunday mentioned he could smell oil from the car, so I'm hoping it's just due to the RC's )
  5. About -£20,000 (that's a minus in front btw)
  6. Well I decided to purchase and fit a cheap eBay short shifter (shock horror!), these are an exact copy of the b&m/fidanza design. The reason, I thought I'd just see if I liked the feeling of the shortened throw for a cheap price. As I expected, the fit and finish is fine, nothing really wrong with it as it seems like it was updated with the design of the 'official' ones. Fitting is straightforward, and I used the oem plate on top of the included one, as it helps guide into 5th and 6th. The only tiny thing is that reverse is a bit tricky to engage but I can see why and will show why in some pics later. Feels great, very positive, not notchy (I have the poly bushing on the transmission mount btw). I may still try the Stillen or another at a later date but for now this is ok. (will be in touch Adrian ;-) )
  7. The bridgestones I had on were horrid. I remember I was rolling along (no accel) on a slightly damp, large roundabout and the back started sliding completely unprovoked. Next day, binned them and put on some decent rubber (several times I didn't feel confident with them - note this is a DE car, I'm guessing the 40's not 50's on it) (I personally prefer grip to slip - ooer)
  8. I love washing the car in the rain, look like a total nutter
  9. It was about £120 for the original replacement iirc. I like the look of the original but I found a heavy (450g) feels soo much better and precise, and was cheaper.
  10. Sign up to photobucket, you can install it on your phone as well, far easier imho
  11. No cats here.
  12. My one does this, always has done, typically when warmed up and running down a bit.
  13. Can you link to Busters fix in the first post ? (this is something I'll do later in the year, handy to know!)
  14. I completely agree. If you have signs of oil around the spark plugs/RC's then it's typically going to be due to this. I frequently top up with oil but obviously it's best to just fix the problem itself. Since you mentioned it, what sealant should we use for this ?
  15. I would have thought any anodized or painted ones are going to chip/peel no ?
  16. Look at my first post...watch the videos. Drill bit is included iirc. (he does muck this up - but the removal and tips are handy)
  17. I just noticed he drives two different cars/versions in that clip on the first post.
  18. Definitely put it up on here if it isn't - it should stay in the family so to speak. Also, whenever I look for a new car, I ONLY buy from the owner clubs, I don't even bother with the autotrader/ph stuff.... just sayin..
  19. Book/drive into the coach carriages
  20. That's seriously good quality for such a cheapo price.
  21. Cal: I forgot to ask, what's the price for the lights, and what's the deal with the off-set beam, can they be corrected ? (I'm sure you've said already, apologies).
  22. Wait until the LaF gets out there as well, it's hugely fast even in the company of the p1 and 918 but I know for sure the 918 is more stable into and out of the corners, so it'll depend on the track. All of them are incredible cars though.
  23. Yeah I thought that looked a bit iffy on the P1. Can't believe (well, unfortunately I can) how many times they wanted to change the tyres to try and win
  24. Enjoy. Great vid, and fingers and bits crossed I get my taster of the 918 this weekend
  25. Reporting at it's finest.
