You said something economical which although good on fuel a BMW is not going to be economical if it goes wrong. Civic 2.2d is a good engine but servicing is on the pricier side for parts. If your looking for cheap what about a fiesta 1.6tdic zetec? The 183 clio isn't a bad shout either, for 5k you'll get a minter and a little left for a mod or two

My Suzuki cappuccino. First rear wheel drive, light as a feather. Taught me a lot about throttle control. My fabia VRS Mk1 as it was a great all rounder & didn't shout about it.

I was recently in the same boat. Daughter now 18months old & glad I kept the zed. Problem I have now is that we have recently moved home which is further out of town meaning I can no longer walk to pick my daughter up from nursery if she is sick or the wife's late at work etc & the zed is rendered useless in that scenario. Luckily for me the wife is very understanding as to how much I love my zed & suggested that a good compromise would be to take the zed off the road for winter since the tax ran out on 1st October anyway & get a little run around with back seats. Currently looking for a clean clio 182 as they are a bit of a bargain for how much fun they are & as a bonus are pretty safe

Fit the nismo, see if its to your liking. If not add HFC's. Simples.

Clark Motorsport may have looked after it if it was local. Fintray garage don't specialise in any particular car. They often have decent cars as well as rough ones but they're usually fairly honest in their descriptions & price IMO albeit they seem to be a little sparse with all of their descriptions on pheads stock list

Yes a remap would improve this but if your going to mod your car it's best to upgrade your exhaust etc to get the most out of the remap. That's why I haven't done it yet as i still have to upgrade the exhaust. I've learned to live with it although on occasions it has really bugged me

You mean like a hesitation? Do you have an early HR? I know its common for HR's to suffer some slight hesitation as you described, mine does it.

How much are the strut braces for the 350HR? Looks lovely

Pad disc combo? Getting close to Christmas & I'm guessing people may be tightening the purse strings a bit so maybe the LSD's will be a bit expensive this time of year to draw big group buy crowds.

Yep surely if it's a fake & the other real it will weigh a lot more. Might me a giveaway if there are more weights on the wheel with no stamp or does the car have any vibration or pull to one side at all. Think it would do this if one wheel were different to the rest if not weighted correctly. Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
