  1. As title stares for HR engine. Heared a video clip of the S tune with berks on youtube the other day and im hooked!
  2. Nice car, lowered with nice 19" or 20" wheels.
  3. The zed will take a little getting used to in terms of clutch, pulling away smoothly etc compared to the Audis or BMW. The 123d is a cracker of an engine. I too have and a3 tdi and find it very dull. In my opinion the TT's wouldnt entertain for long but would be easier to live with but no Audi ( apart from the RS4 and a few others) has character of which the zed has in spades full. Like you say, the proof will be in the pudding. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
  4. Dam I missed this post. I need to be on here more often as at that price I would have taken one!
  5. Welcome Rick from a fellow Aberdonian. You won't be disappointed with the zed they're fantastic cars that get the right kind of attention from passers by and other motorists! If you can opt for the HR, I have one with the full factory fit nismo kit and absolutely love it. Never fails to excite. The grey one with the red seats is very nice if a little overpriced but I've NEVER seen another with red seats so imagine he's setting it high for that and low mileage, sure you could knock him down some! Hope you find one in time for when / if the good weather arrives. With regards to rays wheels, there's a set on eBay from a motherwell scrappy for good money. Good luck & let us know how you get on.
  6. +1 on aesthetics and character although interior is much improved in 370z IMO
  7. 3 months. Only done 2500 miles since i bought nearly a year ago but each and every one of them has been a joy

  12. £475 paid out today but for that I get another years worth of pure joy on all my favourite roads. Even a drive to the shops for the Sunday paper is bliss, it's worth every penny IMO
  13. I have just bought a midnight blue 313 gt and as said already in dull light it looks almost black but when the suns out it looks fantastic with the metallic flake really popping out. I was also originally going to buy a gunmetal grey but I'm glad I went with the blue now. You obviously must like it before your asking our opinions on it so I'd say if the rest of the car is sound then what are you waiting for
  14. Congrats on the Zed purchase. I bet it sounds great when you fire it up in that street with the sound bouncing off the houses either side!
  15. Cheers guys love the combo. Pic doesn't do car/colour justice. We were lucky enough to get some good weather yesterday for picking her up. The metallic pop is lovely when the sun hits it!

  17. Very true a different beast altogether from the Zed but with a 400hp supercharged v8 it still gave this old dinosaur some happy memories I'll see about getting some pics up once I get a chance to clean her, 600 miles has left her looking a bit cruddy. I shall also do a search to see exactly how you post pics as it's a new one for me
  18. Thanks guys Yeah, surrounding area (bluetoon)
  19. Hi guys, Firstly would just like to say what a great forum this is. I've been threatening to buy a 350z for a while now and with an increasingly large chunk of my day (every day) being spent on this forum I recently decided to sell my super v8 jag to do so. After spotting a beautiful factory fitted nismo 313 GT in midnight blue I just had to have it. When I initially rang the dealers I couldn't believe how gutted I was when they told me it was provisionally sold. They said they would call back if the deal fell through but I didn't hold out any hope as by then I had spotted the thread on this forum about the car in question and could see there was a lot of interest in it. To my surprise last Friday I got that unexpected call! So long story short I am now the VERY proud owner of a 350z . My son and I flew down from the north east of Scotland to Bristol, gave the car a very thorough look over and proceeded to drive the car the 600 mile journey back home. Being a bit of a dinosaur and coming from the jag I am could not believe how fresh I still felt at the end of the journey and have to say I am very surprised/impressed at how well the car rides on it's 19" wheels. The car itself was faultless and both my son and I are already hooked on that engine/exhaust note. I am like a kid in a candy shop at the moment, it is everything and some on what I thought it would be like and I Totally understand what you all mean about the dreaded Zedititis!!
